| I'm not sure how much farther in depth you can go into jokes than that. "Joke" is also a term used for someone or something in which is not taken seriously by others.

| I guess a joke would be something intentionally said, or an intentional action, meant to garner a humourous reaction from the recipient of said "joke".

| [You only get it if you laugh] Touche my friend.... a joke is merely words that some one person finds amusing due to teh fact that they have some previous experience to the "joke" said at hand.. People can only find something funny if they can relate to it - therfore a "joke" is not something that makes people laugh but nerely a way to express a memory to someone who has already experienced it in a differrnt comic mannor a joke would not exist wthout an audience, so maybe a "joke" isnt the words but merely a the comical reaction you achieve after the words are stated?
