Maybe this has been posted before, but I've got a story to go along with it.

Assuming a cat always lands on its feet when falling, and toast always lands buttered side down when dropped, what happens when you strap a piece of toast (buttered side up) to the back of a cat and drop it?

I presented this cunundrum to a friend's girlfriend, the summation of the converstaion is as follows.

ME - Q:
HER - A:

Q: so what happens?
A: It depends on the rope holding down the bread, is it heavy? that would affect the cat falling.

Q: it doesnt matter, this isnt a physics problem, its a logic problem, you are given a set of assumed truths and must answer accordingly...
A: Right but if the cat doesnt like the toast on its back its gonna fight and make it harder...

Q: I don't think you are getting the point..
A: Got anything else? cause I can sit here and disprove this all day...

Q:its not something to prove or disprove until you have reached a conclusion.
A: no, i just outsmarted you is all...etc etc etc

I was amazed at the level of human my friend finds acceptable to f*ck



Anyways... thoughts? questions? concerns? complaints? deeply held grievances?
