One of the main characteristics of the classic sociopath case is a lack of empathy. Empathy is basically guilt. So I would imagine that if you never feel guilty about anything bad you've done, or even for the omission of good, then you might be a sociopath. And that would be bad.

Now, enlightened... that's interesting. Perhaps if you were just so enlightened as to never do anything that you would feel guilty about, you wouldn't have this problem.

I'm either the first or second, lol. Idk, I rarely feel guilt, cuz I always have justification on why i did such a thing.

I genuinely feel guilty if I know I did something wrong, but if someone is intentionally twisting things around or making it seem as if I did something wrong to make me feel guilty, then I don't because I know it's a ploy. Majority of the time I feel guilty is because I make myself feel that way, because I know I should have did something differently.

Hmmm....Well I would suppose if you had a lack of guilt when you do things that are wrong then you would not be normal....I don't quite think of enlightened when I think about that question. I mean c'mon you wouldn't feel guilty if for example you accidently killed a child while driving? If you wouldn't feel guilt from that type of situation then I would say you would definately be a bad person. I guess it would really depend on the situation and the severity of it. People's preceptions of right and wrong are all different person to person. What may seem right to you and I may seem wrong to others. So you can't really feel guilty if you don't think it is wrong. I don't think smoking pot is wrong. However the government, police, and some citizens think it is wrong and have kept it illegal. I don't feel guilty when I get stoned though because I don't feel it is wrong. Anyway that was my opinion on this question. Keep on tokin everyone!
