Lucid dreams and Death

Alright, Lucid dreaming is when you realize you're in a dream and are able to control it and stuff. Also people say that if you die in a dream, you die in real life. So technically if you were lucid dreaming and committed suicide, whould you die in real life, and if you didn't would you know what dying would feel like?

Think about that its intense.

Sorry to debunk the theory but I've died in more than one dream and well,
still here folks...

If you die in a dream, you simply wake up.
Committing suicide in a lucid dream would only serve as a way to wake yourself up if you can't find a way.

I assume you mean that 'you wake up' eventually (as with all dreams) as opposed to immediately...
