Well then, to get technical with it, any English teacher will tell you that you cannot LOVE an object like a guitar, you can LIKE an object like a guitar though. Love is not something that makes you feel good, it's making yourself feel good by seeing others feel good. That's like saying I love cake, because cake makes me feel good when I eat it. I may love to cook food, but it's not used in the right context. I should say I like to cook, it's my passion, and I love the feeling I get when others eat a meal I prepare, seeing them happy.

i think its okay to say you love things that aren't alive. i can say i love getting kids meals from taco bell, because they make me very happy.

but in no way is it the same love that i have for my parents, family, boyfriend. it still is love tho. because taco bell sure does bring me a lot of happiness.

but... what happens when u lose that person u love so much? how bad does it really suck... sometimes i worry all day about this sort of thing, and its no fun

Love to me is simple things.

I love Faerywings so much it scares me. I thought this awhile ago as i met a new girl at my work. She was nice but i could tell from her tone she was interested which is a no no. I once was the type of person that would have jumped at a chance like this, that was before i was in love. I simply said hello and introduced myself and then buried my nose in a book, polite but clearly disinterested. To this day she doesn't say hi when i see her

See to me thats love. Having such a loyalty to her that i dont even let things have a chance to begin to happen. I could have befriended that girl but ya know what, id have to deal with the way interested friends of the opposite sex are when you have a girlfriend which if any of you have been through you know why i dont want to go through it. They seem sometimes like vultures, just waiting for a plm to happen so they can get their feed

Its either that or love is being able to fart around someone comfortably

This is just my opinion, but i think people use the word love to freely, there are few people i honestly LOVE.

Can't describe love. When you feel it, you feel it. When you don't, you definetly know that you don't. It's the most wonderful and the most moving force in the universe. It's what causes mothers to lift cars off of children, it's what makes people spend thousands of dollars to keep their wives and their husbands on life support in the hospital in hopes that they might wake up one day, and it's that cute feeling you get when your stomache churns and you feel lost without some other person and you can explain why. THATS LOVE. And It's The Best.

Actually I think adrenaline is what makes a mother or anyone for that matter do something beyond their normal physical capacity, like lifting a car. You hit the nail on the head with the butterfly feeling, but what about unconditional love, where you would die to save your own son's life? It depends on what kind of love we are talking about I guess.

I dont feel that Ive ever experienced love. Im only 17 though. All the girls I had crushes on and thought I "loved" really only turned out to be girls that I wanted to have sex with really really bad. Its tricked me too many times. Its just out there to get me to reproduce.
