Love the thread Nail I3unny. Those are some of the things I have been thinking about over time too. Many of those concepts are covered in Taoism. The book Taoism is based off of is called the Tao Te Ching and has many many similar statements.

Ian Goddard wrote an interesting article on this concept that is posted on Erowid check it out. It also seems to match up with the chinese concept of yin and yang. In fact most of the things Nail I3unny wrote do.

Anyway like I said Nail I3unny I love the thread.

I tend to think of everything as needing an opposite in order to be perceived. thats not how the world is in truth, but its how my brain and sense organs have evolved to allow my consciousness to control the environment around the biological computer that is me for survival of the species. the whole why did god put so much evil into the world? (i believe in God meaning: an eternal omniscent consciousness that does not interfere with the universe beyond planning and creation)

I feel like the experience of life itself is more meaningful than finding 1 single "meaning" to life.

if you can imagine Heavan, ITS IMPOSSIBLE!

our Universe with the ying-yang contrasting and intertwining to form everything in existance, i feel, could one day create a more REALISTIC heavan than anything with clouds and no injuries or disease, but still happiness.

if you are happy, it is always because you are comparing your current state of life to some bad events that exist as ABSTRACT IDEAS.

in better words, If you were placed in heavan, you would NEED to have the ability to think of abstract EVIL in order to percieve the good around you as good.

- and since angels would reasonably need to have the ability to IMAGINE evil, in order to percieve their reality as GOOD, Heavan can not exist as the PURE GOOD realm of God as religion makes it out to seem.

I really hope you who read all that understand what i wrote how i wanted it to be interpreted.

I would like to hear everyones thoughts.

That is the entire point of Heaven though. It just is good. You don't have to do any work to percieve it as good.
Plus I think the lifetime on earth would be good enough to pass for evil once you are in Heaven.

I've always kind of thought we we're in a type of hell now, and it's all a test. If you pass you go to heaven, if not you come back and live an even worse life. And when you die, if you pass etc. etc.

Your sentences have been the most thought provoking thing I've read today. Everything in the world is guaranteed to fail at one time or another.

this made me think of one of mine. Have you ever thought about how other people actually see things. Like, colors for example. Let's say that a parent is trying too teach their kid a color. He points to a square he sees as red, and says red. That kid may be percieving that color as what the parent might see as green, but because we've grown up learning it's called this, and it goes with this, and when you mix it you get this.

Which leads me to a discussion about the amazing experiments you could do with a fresh mind. Like, isolating a child from birth, as ethically, and morally wrong as it is.

-Things constantly grow and change, and as they grow, they become more intricate, and as these intricacies grow, they become more intricate, and so on and so forth.
....until the become intricately simple.

-The world put in front of us is obscured by everything we've put in front of ourselves.
...Just a really good quote.
Sorry, I just added to yours.

I immediately thought of the first of the three marks of existence in buddhist thought.
1. Everything is impermanent
2. All things in the physical and psycholigical realm is unsatisfactory, causing 'suffering'
3. All things are empty and without self
According to buddhist tradition realizing this and integrating it with practising mindfullness, will allow you to escape samsara, the cycle of reincarnation,

This is true, everything is a subjective view of an objective(?) reality.

Again the notion of impermanence in buddhist tradition.
