i believe life is sorta like a video where you can choose the good or bad actions and the game(life) has different endings, except 1 life. Learning lessons would be like accomplishing challenges in a game where you become better and wiser at it. What I'm trying to get at is if someone dies, THEY WERE MEANT TO DIE! Life is weird like that...Your asking now, wtf is wrong with this kid thinking innocent people are supposed to die...well let me tell you, every thing that happens, happens for a fucking reason. It may not be clear to us what the reason is, but somewhere out there someone learned a lesson in life that possibly changed their life around for the better or worse depending how they handle things. God gave us life, when we mess up we get negative consequences..that's why people who commit suicide were not necessarily planned to die early, but went through a series of mistakes and gave up on the game(life) thinking it was too difficult and just gave up....when they give up on life, another person some where else gets the reaction set off when the person died. Simply, every action has a consequence, wether it may be negative or positive we truly are the decision makers in where we will be life, it all resides on maturity but hey? everyone was immature at one point but by learning FROM THEIR LESSONS they go on to not make the same mistake. Sorry if it's long, but read the last paragraph to try and understand if you don't wanna read all that. Peace guys and happy toking. (I'm not high right now btw)

There is no evidence that everything happens for a reason. For all we know this may all be just some random experiment. I do have a few thoughts on the matters of life and death of my own though. Death is something that happens once in a life time. Therefore, if there is any meaning to life and death, the fact that death comes but once in a life time tells me that it is important if for no other reason than it only comes once. With that in mind I believe that each person should live with his death in mind. The purpose, I believe, of life is to prepare for death. In so doing you can ensure that you die well. That you die with dignity and honor. A person should always have his death in mind to ensure that he/she lives well. This way you can, when you die, look back and say that you lived well and that you made a difference. Every moment in our life is one moment closer to death. Death is the climax, the culmination, of our lives. Only by living well can you ensure that your death will be a good one. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- A violent man does not die a natural death. ~Lao Tsu Tao Te Ching ch42

Not a fan of the idea. Life isn't as black and white as you seem to think. There are further consequences of our actions that we don't necessarily see that may take place in the life of someone we've never met before.

I'm not sure if you are refering to Lombax's post or mine. All I can say is I agree with you. For sure our actions always have effects that we do not see and some we do. I did not mean to imply otherwise. | |

Nothing happens for a reason, at least not a higher reason. Obviously if I plan a party and then a party happens, it happened because I planned a party. I gave up on trying to find the "meaning" or even trying to understand life a while ago. life, as well as our world and universe, is completely crazy. Everything is so different and so unique that it is impossible to judge or even contemplate on who or what somebody or a group of people can be.
