Well i'm not sure about you guys, but when i fall asleep at night, even when high i cannot remember my dreams in the morning. I've taken some time and curiosity while high and found out that i actually fall into a deep REM sleep where your brain releases chemicals called DMT that protect you from remembering what you dreamed about the night before because the dreams are beyond the grasp of human reality. could be tested and yes you do trip while under the influince of DMT but the more dmt u use the less you will rember after the trip

Chuang Tzu wrote of having a dream about being a butterfly. Upon waking a thought occurred to him. He realized that he could not be sure if he was a man who had a dream about being a butterfly or if, awake, he was a butterfly having a dream of being a man.

As someone above mentioned, we usually forget our dreams upon waking. This being the case we cannot be completely sure what dreams are, where they come from or even our own origin. Sure there are countless "explinations" but ultimately we do not know. There is so much outside of our perceptions and dreams are for the most part outside of our perceptions. The video above explains the chemistry of it based upon what we do know or at least what we think we know, but I belive there is more to it and we will probably never know the whole truth.

or it could be that we are all sorta connected in dreams. I mean we have dreams with people in them and in some way they could be on the other side of the world but its very plausible idea. i really like the idea to. it really puts you into deep thought.

Edit: I also believe that we can try studying this but using the drug DMT under a controlled government lab and test this shit out! because your dreams come from the pineal gland and that can re created by using DMT because you just activate your pineal gland and pretty much trip the fuck out......RIGHT?

I can make myself have lucid dreams. Having a lucid dream is definitely the biggest trip you can have.
