Well, I just finished a bowl and I was thinking about our size relative to everything in the entire universe. I call this the "Universal Scale" (idk if something like this already exists or not, tell me if there is).

It kind of astonishes me to think about the comparison of our size(mass/height/etc) to everything in the universe. Normally I think we either focus on one end or the other of the 'scale' at a time, meaning we either think about things that are much smaller or much bigger than us, but how many of us have actually thought about both at the same time?

It's amazing how wide the spectrum of sizes are in this Universe. I mean we've got extremely small particles like the atom. And of course even smaller ones like 'quarks' which supposedly make up protons and neutrons, and neutrinos which are so tiny they are passing through all of us at this very moment. And then there are extremely large objects as well like VY Canis Majoris, which is roughly 2,100 times the size of our sun. Oh and don't forget the sheer size of our Universe itself!

Think about how small the smallest object in the universe is, maybe it's the quarks or neutrinos, idk, and then compare that to the size of the entire Universe. Put them on a scale like this
That's such a huge difference...
and I think it's pretty crazy to think about...you?
