i don't know if this has been a topic before, but i'm just curious on everyone's believe in aliens. the universe is HUGE, ginormous & there's universe's out there that we don't even know about. where does it end? ...that's another story. anyways... i think that there are other living things out there. how could there not be? i don't think they come in any harm (at least most of them) just like people; some are bad, some are good. just like we're trying to figure out what the fuck they are... they're trying to figure out what we are. i feel that the government has hidden a lot of this to us because they don't want people to freak out over there being other life. i believe that there has been crashes, but the goverment doesn't want it getting out because it's "odd". i used to be scared of aliens until i changed my perspective. i really don't blame them for abducting people, because i'm sure we've done the same to them. i think i'd be a little frightened if something out of this world, literally came through my door & took me into space, but i think it would be trip... ive seen things that i can't explain... they might have been a military plane or a helicopter, but i don't think so.

i was in mexico with my mom & sister, when 3 lights came out of nowhere. we were driving & had to pull over (same with another car behind us) because these lights were just... weird. they moved really slowly, then they would go really fast in one direction, then fall to the ground.

there was also another time when i was in 3rd grade & i was playing on the playground when i saw this metallic looking object in the sky. it didn't have lights, but it looked like it was hovering, not like it was flying, but it was moving slow.

i don't know, maybe i'm just crazy & those things were just "imaginary", but i truely, honestly, believe that there's other life out there. what about you guys?

I have had about 4 experiences. In kindergarten i was alone with my friend (after school extended care) in a feild and we saw a saucer shaped object that took about 1 minute to pass across the sky. I stared for a long time until i realized what i had seen. It was solid grey with a black circle on the bottom.

Another time i was in a park with a couple of kids (4th grade summer?) and some weird stuff was going on. It wasn't an open park but one with long dirt trails and woods (i live in the country). We felt weird and got headaches and became dizzy. We looked over a fence and felt like something was watching us, and all of a sudden something moved in the bushes, ran across and hid in another and we fled.

I was driving home with my mom (3rd grade after soccer practice) and we both saw a huge orange glow in the sky with a smoke trail. It never moved and nothing happened. She saw it, i saw it, n news about a planet, plane explosion, NOTHING. Gave me weird vibes.

About 2 months ago I stayed up all night with my friend and at about 6 am we went outside and jumped on his trampoline. It was noticably cold (this was summer and i live where everyday is always over 95 degrees in summer, and usually at 6am its like 70 but it was only 50 then. We had a strange feeling about the woods next to his house and swear we saw something moving. We investigated and noticed right where we saw the thing the plants were messed up and further back we saw a tiny black thing moving like a human would, but in suer midget dwarf sized. We went back further before reaching a barbed-wire fence and I nearly fainted because my head was weird. We decided to go dirtbiking and fourwheeling (he was on his 4wheeler and i was on my dirtbike) and i was seeing things. I came home and slept and had weird dream things and when i woke up i felt like i was in a dream and had slept for 5 hours (i never fall asleep after staying up all night, and that's not why we were seeing things, when i got home i felt displaced and felt the urge to sleep as it would be the only thing to fix it)

So yeah something's out there. I've had a few more but those are the best. (a ufo flying 100000 miles an hour, and strange lights, silver hovering objects that all of a sudden dissapear, seeing things after i encounter some sort of alien related stuff)

Intelligent life is one thing. Intelligent life that's capable not only of FTL travel but takes an interest in a species so comparatively primitive they're practically amoebas is quite another. I don't for a moment believe we've been visited by aliens.

Once, I was at a friend's house out in the country (and I do mean way out in the country; you have to drive for miles on dirt roads to get to his house) and we were standing outside smoking when we noticed this strange object with weird lights moving slowly towards us. At first it was far in the distance, but after about 10 minutes it was pretty damn close. My friend had, by this time, got his video camera and was recording it because he swore it was a UFO. I didn't think it was a UFO, although it was very strange. Well, it kept getting closer and closer until it was right over us. Turns out it was a blimp.

I'm pretty sure that every 'UFO' seen by people has a reasonable explanation as to what it really is.

The only reason an intelligent species would choose not to visit here would be if a) they had the technology to visit here and b) have the technology to watch us, and then know we aren't worthy of being visited.


I think that any intelligent life, should they have the technology to visit us, would. I mean, wouldn't we do the same? If we came up with the technology to travel through the universe at a speed faster than light and visit other planets, would we not? Even if the planet was full of pseudo-intellectual beings that were barely as smart as bronze-age humans, would we not visit them?

Then again I can't speak for other species.

As for my belief for other life on planets: It's extremely likely. Even intelligent life is pretty likely to exist.

But until I see evidence for these aliens existence, I don't believe that they do exist. It's just pretty likely that they do.

i believe there are stoners on other planets.

i mean the universe is infinite, it would be pretty... idk small minded? to say there aren't any intelligent lifeforms on other planets. i'm sure there are many unknown elements to be added onto the periodic table. and take crop circles for example, sure they can be made by people... that's been proven... but have you seen the complexity of some of them? and how fast they're made? like one minute there's nothing there, then the next people see a bunch of lights and the dog starts barking... and bam... one big ass crop circle came out of nowhere... i more so believe in a more advanced human race on another planet though... idk who's been visiting us, or if they have... but people have pondered UFOs and aliens for centuries if not more... if anything though, i think they're just trying to tell us something.

and just like to think that there are potheads in high places of the government
that have big ass photon lights that they can aim at the sky or whatever and like to fuck with us for enjoyment

I don't think there's ever been a case in which a crop circle appeared in minutes..but if you could prove me wrong I'd eat my words.

You're right, there are probably intelligent beings out there...but unless they find a means to escape laws of physics, I don't think they'll ever reach us, or we'll ever reach them.

just stories i've heard from tv... or people giving lectures
i mean if anyone can prove how long it took to make one,
i'm sure they would've seen exactly what made it... right?

yeah, i don't really care much for aliens... or outer space exploration
i mean, sure its neat to discover new things about that kind of stuff
but we should focus on our planet first
