No matter what goes wrong in my life it doesnt seem to trouble me for some reason, there is a lot of good and a lot of bad in this world and i feel like im just flowing past it. Like whatever happens it is just a small obstacle that you can pass by. Cause really look at whatever has happened in your life. In a year it wont matter, in a year you wont even worry about the thing that previously happened. In a year there is new things on your mind and new problems to worry about, but those in time will pass too. Im not saying nothing affects me cause we all have times were it seems to overwhelm you. We all have times where everything is just too much to handle, but then you look back on it later and its not a big deal at all. I dont know if i even have a point to get across to you but if i did i think it would be that everything is going to be ok. Everything will be ok.

I appreciate your optimism, and I hope you continue to pay it forward. However, I get the impression that you're young, and you've probably lived, for the most part, the stereotypical American childhood. I on the other hand am also young, but my blissful ignorance to life's difficulties wore off way earlier in my life than it should have, and I've had to grow up in a way that most people simply take for granted even happens. I could be wrong, and perhaps your life has also been riddled with troubles, but perhaps you haven't lost enough, been deprived of enough or left enough behind you to really tarnish your positive outlook on life. I can look back a year from now and see myself in the same position I find myself in now, although my return to Canada has lightened the load for me considerably. I wouldn't change anything I've done or been through for anything, because I find satisfaction and confidence in who I've become, but I wish I hadn't had to grow up as fast as I did...

You got it exactly right, all i can say applies to the average american because that is the life that i have lived. But at the same time i think everyone should turn a positive perspective on life because really, what harm can come from looking on the good side ya know?

I'm a 16 year old male who has had a lot of pain in his short life, I won't bother you with the details, I should be a lot sadder than I am currently though, I'm a complete optimist in a house full of narcissists and pessimists, I would say I would be one too if I wasn't a smoker of pot, and ironically enough, my parents hate that I do it. I just hope that in time I don't become the typical adults I see everyday, blank faces muddled up in routine getting sadder and sadder but incredibly slowly, that would be my form of torture.

My saying is - "I'd prefer to live one single moment happy than live an entire life of sadness"

If that's due to my age, I hope I die happily walking down the street at 20 getting hit by an aeroplane rather than dying at 80 perhaps much sadder.
