| Have you ever though, what if some really crazy crap happened and what the conciquences would be? Like what if the earth was caught in a black hole or if we could go the speed of light. Well I will try to answer all your questions. 1st: If the earth was caught in a black hole we wouldn't be able to tell until it was too late. Because of the way that the black hole would detort time and space, we would see where the black hole is and just see empty space because of the time delay. To us the black hole would be about a lightyear away. Even though time would be slowed down, we would act as if everything was just the same because time is relative to the human brain. However, anybody looking at the earth from outside the area of affect would see almost no movement at all. 2nd: If we could go the speed of light, we would theoretically all die. Acording to a widely accepted theory, matter would turn infinite once it hit the speed of light. With infinite mass comes infinite gravity. 3rd: I just came up with this one. Since the faster you go the more time slows down, just how slow are we going acording to the real actual time speed? Take the speed we travel on the planet plus the speed the planet turns plus the speed the earth revolves around the sun plus the spped our galaxy turns plus the speed the galaxy is traveling through the universe plus the speed at which the universe moves, if it moves at all, and you have the rate at which our time is slowed down acording to the real time of exsistance. Crazy huh?
