| yesterday while being stoned i thought of something interesting and tried really hard to remember it. i'm glad i did. after getting stoned, me and my friend had a good conversation and i began to notice that she says alot of really deep things. i mean the information just poured out of her,( probably something she learned long time ago). we talked about the books and she began to tell me the history behind them and their authors. i was just amazed at the vocabulary she used and all. once the conversation started i noticed that i'm saying a lot of meaningful things too. i remembered reading many posts here discussing how while high we come out of the box, think more philosophical and etc. the point of my post is - does smoking Marijuana bring out everything we learned in life, while messing with our memory??? like it opens the door to the storage of all of our knowledge, letting it pour out in one big flow. that's why we see things differently and everything makes sense, b/c at the point of being high we are able to remember things we learned in the longrun. i hope i posted this at the right place. i've been reading the forum most of the time, and it's my first post. |

| I completely agree- I think of so much crazy stuff (well it seems crazy to a sober person) when I smoke. But at the time, and for a couple of days after smoking, it seems so important and monumental in its discovery. However there is still the sober part of me that realises how strange my ideas would sound to other people, so I don't convey these thoughts to other people (apart from very close friends). Instead I come on marijuana.com and see that you guys have thought of it first! JJBongalong |

| The "big flow" you mentioned certainly does happen, as smoking Cannabis does bring about a rush of feeling or thought, at least for me. It seems to only affect my memory because I'm constantly thinking about different things on the same topic and are therefore unable to recall the exact sub-topic I was thinking about before. |

| The same thing happens with me, when I'm high, i find my mind being pulled in a dozen diffrent directions at the same time, creating some of the longest and most interesting conversations i have ever had. However, after i had started a conversation on lets say "bees" and i ended with something to do with the War in Iraq, i sometimes have trouble remembering what started the whole conversation. I think our memory is strained because are brain cells are literally exhausted with information and thought.

| Thats a good idea Buzzby, I have thought of that before but never get around to getting a recorder. I have a phone now that records conversation, I tried it once when I smoked up by myself, I had these awesome thoughts that felt like close to the meaning of the world but when I tried to say them into the mic I couldn't translate my feelings. Anita, I too have some deep conversations with my mate when I'm high. How good is marijuana! Sometimes you get so stoned you can't really say what you want to say but sometimes conversation just flows so smooth it's so amazing its almost scary |

| Some of the funniest things I've ever heard was when we recorded ourselves high. WTF - did we make any sense at all? ![]()

| its as if when u smoke weed and have deep conversations the people involve connect on the same wave length so its easier to understand whatever is being said. it feels like the conversation that is in progress only uses the bare minimum of words to still get the exact full amount of emotion across to the other person but using a lot less vocabulary then u usaualy would ie if i wanted to say somethin to my friend its like i leave out all the unnessasary words from the conversation, and sort of speak my chosen topic in its most purest form yet it still makes 100 percent sense
