|  If I'm terminally ill and suffering, or staring something like alzheimers in the face . .. knowing that all that lies ahead for me is progressive dementia and eventual catatonia . . . then sure. I'd rather go out on my own terms in that situation than put my loved ones through witnessing the slow, painful, disintegration of my "self". Out of depression or self pity though? Never. -HH |
