| I rented it, then bought it. Anybody else see this movie? It seems to be causing "quite the sensation".

| Certainly. ![]() http://www.whatthebleep.com/ The movie has a normal sort of plotline that is mixed together with philosophy from various authors and scientist. Quantum physics is discussed, but it mostly is about the concept that consiousness creates reality.... not the other way around. ![]() |

| I just requested it from Blockbuster Online. It says "short wait". I've been a member there for two months and have never received any DVD that was listed as "short wait". I now have 18 "short wait", "long wait", and "very long wait" DVDs in my queue. I may have to look for it elsewhere.

| Because the film is basically a philosophical treatise. |

| I've seen the film since my last post. I found it very interesting, especially as it restated several of the insights I've had lately. I have my doubts about "The Message in Water". I'd like to read some peer review of the methodology. I suspect Dr. Emoto selected occurrences that supported his hypothesis. Snowflakes are always unique and always beautiful. Liquid water is amorphous. I had trouble with the blanket denouncement of organized religion. It's not my cup of tea but is probably exactly the right thing for a lot of people. In a film that endorses infinite possibilities and the fact that each person creates his own reality by his own choices, it seems odd to devalue the choice of the majority of people on the planet. |

| I think they are denouncing the idea of placing your reality in the hands of doctrine and not science. And as for the water, I'm right with you. I so want to believe it, but they really didn't give any reason to believe it. I do however agree with the point they are making behind it. edit: i know you can easily argue against my first sentence, it was just off the top of my head. |
