have you ever noticed how marijuana seems to bring about this incredible naturalistic sense? i've been smoking for about six years now, and only recently have i began to really think about these stoned revelations of mine. The non-biased type of thinking that i can do when i'm stoned simply amazes me now. i'm going to start recording some of these revelations when i'm stoned with a tape recorder. anyone else do this?

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

I have noticed this a lot, take this for an example:

I was always a pretty open-minded person, but I though religion was evil and science ruled (how original heh). After I began smoking I started to think about things from different sides, and now I am very open-minded and even visited a church, synagogue, and a mosque a few times just to see what was going on I think for me, marijuana was a gateway to philosophical thinking - I think the same way I do when I am high, but now when I am sober!

It's great, I am so 'at peace' and it is because MJ sort of let me think more freely.

I tried writing my revelations down.. but sometimes I would be far to stoned to find a pen and write anything down.. so that didnt last too long

I suggest keeping a journal, if writing is your thing. If not a recorder might be a good idea. Sometimes it's hard to type when stoned

I prefer writing the next morning, when I'm sober and have time to reflect on my thoughts a little. Then I like going back over what I've written while high, and revising a little. It keeps the narrative close to the experience, but not 'wacked-out' or spacey. Anyway, it's what works for me ...

Actually I have done that a few times, right down my thoughts and read them the next morning. Sometimes if it is after school and I have a lot of pressure put on me, the thoughts on paper seem embarassing. But if it is at night or I am relaxed and/or high, they make perfect sense.

I think most people (me at least) are truly at our best thoughts when high. I am not talking the UFO rantings, but when we are thinking about life. It is because our minds are pure and aren't poisoned by anything else at the moment. This is why I prefer to smoke alone and not at parties/with large groups.

i have the best ideas when im stoned even though some are just plain stupid. one of them was what if people could no longer walk but had to roll everwher like on their side. what would car look like? stores would have to have huge isles and how would everyone carry their groceries over to the checkout stand and to their car and stuff?

Anyways on Friday I visited my mini-forest (it's awesome!) that I always smoke at, but this time I brought someone along who wanted to smoke. I got to my usually log, and damn she thought I was crazy

You know when you are really high and sometimes you don't really remember some of your thoughts? Well this is what happened, but someone else got to see them. Throughout the little forest (more like a very large grouping in a park heh) I had carved names of some cool places.

For example one there is a patch of mushrooms in one spot that are huge, so on a log right beside it there is an arrow saying 'a good spot to sit - the mushroom stools' and some other weird ones like: 'bramble wall' (which is cool, for about 50 feet there is this little wall about 2 feet high of dead vines), 'smoking log', etc. And on smoking log there are about 20 burnt incense stick poking out, along with one of my books under it

Anyways it was pretty funny seeing that place when I wasn't high, I even carved in some really trippy poetry (all on DEAD trees of course!).

Bongzilla, I agree with you man. It is also liberating to know that the philosophical thoughts that entered your mind while intoxicated eventually carries over and crosses paths with the more rational sober self. I love the fact that some of that creativity I get when stoned is still in my brain even when I'm sober. I've been getting a lot of good creative thoughts lately, and now i want to write a screenplay. Who said weed doesn't motivate?

I dunno if this counts, but after the first time I did a certain drug that makes you think a lot and grows in cow ****, , I started really looking into the times that I get stoned. It's real weird to approach smoking as a "trip", and just let your mind wander to think of whatever it pleases.

yes, i have written some things down and plan on doing it some more. when i first started smoking pot, i promised myself i would someday write a book on my ramblings...lol. anyways, i will have to try the tape recorder thing, if i can find one.

i too am mainly a *loner smoker* and tend do think on a different plane than with other smokers. i really wish i could find some RL friends like some on this board.
