High seems to be a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Some people describe it as a dullening, others a sharpening of the mind. Some say its a 'release' from normal mental constraints, while others even consider it a catalyst for 'religious' experiences.
So I'm asking, what is you high?

Generally, when I get really high I feel like im drifting out for a while, but when I just get slightly high, I notice a difference in perception, almost like a subconscious voice coming through.

i feel you on the "subconcious voice" thing. is it just me.. or does anyone else ever find themselves talking to themselves in their head when their high? when im high i notice that my thoughts somehow become complete sentences. sometimes i even make jokes in my mind.. yea i sound crazy now but its whatever..

As far as I'm concerned, being high is viewing reality from a different perspective. You can get high without using drugs. All the other effects of using drugs are incidental.

I hear you, cuz i it seems i have thousands of thoughts running threw my head and im trying to make sence of them sort of. When I get high i see stuff from a different perspective and basically i go about pondering what the hell is going on. I dunno...

being high is an alter state of mind and perception. being high on weed\ hallucinigens is like a simplistic view towards a rather complex equation.
