| EeJay - when u countered doritosman's point, there was a flaw, doritosman said that domesticated species, including homo sapien, had different characteristics, but as u said, with the finch -- those are ALL different species, theyre not the same animal at all... in their taxonomy, it might all have the same genus in there, but the species will change -- those are in fact all different birds as humans are all the same species... and to cuan... winning the lottery 1000 times is possible (unlikely, but possible) so in thinking that way... we all would find someone exactly like us... i dunno about u guys, but i heard from my godmother a long time ago that she thought that everyone in the world had an exact duplicate of them walking around... i mean, there are things like twins already, but, anyone else believe that theres an exact duplicate of them walking around? i know theres one of me... out there, somewhere... ill get u beer baron...

| Us Humans have created these categorisations. Those Finches would all have similar genes with different ones for beaks, feather colour etc. but they all have distinct features to which we can separate them into a group and give them the name Finch. In Humans, we have similar genes, apart from skin colour, body size etc., and it has happened because of environmental factors that forced adaptation.

| I used to have a stupid stoned theory that when you smoke cannabis you go into a more catlike state of mind... think about it, cats are always sleepy and they seem to be on the munchies all the time... Im not high right now so i can see that that theory is pretty dumb

| I always tend to think about things such as the tangability of time, and whether or not it's infinite. The fact that we even understand time as a concept shows that we can somehow sense it. We took a completely abstract concept and turned it into something we can better understand, small incrimants. Now we have clocks that are so accurate it doesn't matter much if they're off by a few billionths of a second. I think that to better understand time as a whole we really need to think of it as something that actually exists that one could sense. Taste, smell, sight, touch, hearing, and a sense of time. The way we've always thought about time even shows up in our vernacular, people say "Do you have the time?". This would suggest that it's something you can own, or have, reffering to a watch or clock, not actually 'time' itself. But at best all we ever do is gauge it, perhaps eventually we can control it. Then there's the concept of infinite time. Even if time weren't infinite, wouldn't one be able to achieve infinite time from their perspective by travelling back through time repeatedly? Wouldn't this then create another version of whoever or whatever travelled back in time? This would mean that through the alteration of time you could create an infinite resource. The properties of existence would show that this is highly unlikely. Is there anything in existence that can infinitely reproduce? And no, life doesn't count, we could infinitely reproduce only if there was an infinite amount of matter for us to consume, or if we can exist without food, oxygen, or any sort of matter that's nececcary for our survival. Not to mention the billion other things that could take us out before we ever got to that point. But just as we can now control matter (to a certain extent), or energy, we may be able to control time. Imagine if the only thing we could really send through time is energy in some form. Although this would be disapointing to a certain extent it would still be one of the biggest discoveries in the history of man kind. This would mean we could transmit data, in the form of energy, through time. Data can be lots of things, and one of them is information. Logging in... Connected! "Hello ChronosWarrior69! | I just love you guys! You could freak out a corpse. But I do agree that pot opens a portal in our minds, and it is easier to communicate with different species on a plane that is somewhee between where we were and where we are now, being stoned. It seems to eliminate barriers to creative thought, or helps to open up the picture so we can see more of what is really there. If I had found out about pot and how much horses like it, I could have saved myself several years of frustration; turning a pony on to a liiiiittle bit of smoke opens his mind too, and he seems to get your message quicker and clearer. No more persuasion, no false starts, just more patience and a better understanding of how they think. And believe me, animals do think.

| It's hilarious how much animals love pot. I was smoking with my sister and friends and we kept blowing the hits into my dog's face. He then started to follow the bowl around in it's rotation and he seriously seemed to be in our conversation. He would nod his head when we said something or he would bark. I hardly ever get him stoned but when he does, he loves it. |
