This was half taken from a post I made a while ago but would like to make it a thread in the hope of more feedback because It's a topic I'm really interested in.......

Watching the Movie matrix was what got me into Philosophy and theories. That movie was the best and always will be the best movie i'v ever seen. I still think about it sometimes and well, it makes sense that we could be all plugged into the matrix. It doesn't bother me if we were cause it wouldn't change anything, what I feel and touch is real to me so that's all that matters.

Anyone read about the black hole and how scientists have proven it to be a flat 2 dimensional object still sucking in matter? Very interesting read. From that they think that what we all see as a 3 dimensional world is actually a 2 dimensional 'movie of your own mind'. Think about it, your looking at your computer right now thinking it has three dimensions, you know that if you turned to your left or right you'd see the rest of the monitor but you cannot see it at this moment your still. It's just like a television, you can see the people on the screan that are all 3d but can never see around them.
If what I said then made sense to you then wouldn't that mean that we really could be in the matrix? We're living in a world where reality is just a program pulled over our very eyes to make us think we are real (3D)?
If you beleive in fate then this too is your answer. It means our life has already been planned like a script and we have no control over it. No control because what we see as reality is actually a series of images pulled over our very eyes like a program already written.

Ever read or heard about ' string theory' ? they say that we could be living among other dimensions (worlds) as in there is a world of aliens as we'd call them right in front of our eyes but we cannot see or communicate with them. If this was so and a lot of scientists beleive this then that would mean we cannot be solid 3 dimensional objects, we'd have to be like something in the matrix, different channels running at the same time but we have no control over seeing them or changing them

Dreaming seems to be a three dimensional memory to me when It's just an episode created from my own mind.

Have I gone too far here? I don't think I have.

Anyone else got thoughts on what I'm on about?
