I went ahead and read all the way to the fourth dimension to give you the benefit of the doubt, but stopped reading after that because you got the first two dimensions wrong. Dunno if you made these descriptions up yourself or got them from somewhere else.

The first dimension is not at all binary, like it is described here. A single point, which has zero dimensions, is binary -- on or off. The first dimension is a line, just like you describe in dimension two. For example, the spectrum of light exists in a single dimension -- with frequencies ranging from infrared to ultraviolet. You get classifications (groups) in the first dimension (several frequencies on the spectrum are "red", several are "blue", and several are in between) -- not in the second dimension as you describe.

You describe the first dimension as binary (essentially a point) and the second dimension as a line -- when really a point describes the 0th dimension and a line the 1st (the 2nd is a plane).

The third and fourth dimensions you described reasonably accurately -- space and time, respectively. Although there is much debate in the scientific community as to whether the fourth dimension is actually time, since we have no basis for theorizing that (that I know of). However it seems the most logical candidate.

But, I stopped reading after the 4th dimension because you didn't even get the first two right =P.

EDIT: Oh, didn't realize this was a 2-year-old lazarus thread. But you still got the first two wrong, anyway. =P

Just wondering if you remember writing this, Higher Logic, because I am interested in knowing where the rest of the colors went? You stopped at green, and didn’t mention blue, indigo or violet.

Also, what do you think of Cassius’s idea about the “zeroth” dimension?

What seems too convenient? I never said I wrote this theory word for word, parts of it are taken from other sources that agree with what I agree. There are many areas being covered in one "subject" here, so it's not like I can list off every site on the net that would have information on this or some part of it. Read up on logic and judgmental reasoning, how the human mind works, where emotions and feelings come from, how they effect us and how they influence life. Read up on the Chaos Theory. There are TOO many things I could list, which is why this may seem so "convenient" to you.

You're probably right, i just don't understand.
maybe you could answer a couple questions to clear things up.

If there is one dimension for each planet in our solar system, why are there more dimensions such as 11 and 22? That doesn't seem consistent; there should be either more planets, less dimensions, or no comparison between the two..

Also, if we are on the 3rd planet from the sun, why do we experience "time" which is said to be the 4th dimension? Shouldn't we have to be on mars for this? Or is it only once we have mastered this dimension can we say that we actually live in it?

I think the major thing i don't understand is how as the demensions get higher, they seem more vague and abstract; really more like characteristics of human life. This is probably because i've only experience 3 dimensions for my whole life, right?

ps. in what dimension can you flip a basketball inside out without puncturing it?

The only stuff i have seen about other demensions are welcome to the 11th demension, but i do believe in other dementions and whatnot, its interesting that time and space are one and that these 4th demensional creature are living in our time, mybe they brought time with them from the fourth demension Mars?! I'm just now starting to study astrology.
