I was having a rather in depth conversation with my pal Bongwater19 the other day when i realised that my life is full of strange occurences.

What i mean by strange occurences is things happening that are just off the beaten path. Spiritual things that i have witnessed in my life that im not sure what to make of. I started to wonder to myself, are these things that only happen to me or do they happen to other people? Things that are just so bizarre because they aren't supposed to happen.

For example i recall a time when i was dating this girl in high school and it was the inevitable time to meet her parents before going out to a movie or whatever we were doing. So i go to her house and meet her mother, she seems nice but, a little out there. We sit down at the kitchen table and start talking and relaxing, drinking soda when her dad comes out, looks at me, without even saying hi to me says "i have something to show you". Now im just thinking to myself ok sure this must be some boyfriend test thing so i get up and go with him into the living room. The first thing i noticed is that the living room had almost no windows and the one it had was shut. I also noticed that in the center of the room there was a chain hanging there perfectly still and her father was standing beside it. What happened next still boggles my mind to this day.

He took his hands and he clapped them once and began to rub them vigorously, then he took them and placed his hand about an inch away from this hanging chain. The chain started to move away from his hand in the same fashion that a magnet propells another magnet away. Then he stops and looks at me and says "The power comes from god".

This may sound like fabrication but this is a real occurence in my life and its only one of the many i can recall. But what i want to know is, does stuff like this happen to anyone else? What about things like freak occurences of extreme coincidence? Ever have a dream one day and then have that dream play itself out in your real life another day while you sit there stunned because you recall the dream? These things are so strange yet i am not frightened by them, am i alone?

This is gonna sound like an extremely strange story. But, isn't this the place for our strange stories? LOL

I beleive constantly, throughout my life, I have been kept track of by (cough) aliens. I know that sounds crazy, but I think i have good reason. I can recall memories as a very young child (3-5) where I would be lying in bed, and I would feel a sense of presence in my room. I then can't remember much, but I end up back in my bed, hours from when I first felt the presence, with no memory of the time in between. And I know I hadn't been sleeping, for some reason, there is a blank-ness there. The last time strange "missing time" happened to me, I was 17 (I'm now 19). I had been out in my dads garage, playing my bass. The last memory I had it was about 9:00 pm, and I was just jammin away, by myself in the attic of our garage. The next memory I have, I was on the ground floor of our garage, and it was about 1:00 AM. This was the strangest of all, because I was in the attic, and I ended up on the main floor. I was also missing my socks (although I had my shoes). I then rushed inside the house to find everyone sleeping.

I do not know what to make of this. I have probably 2 dozen memories like this throughout my short life. I once had one similar to these except when ended up back in my bed, there were a few leaves in my bed...strange. I have decided that when I get the money, I am gonna try a hypnotist.

TC: Your story is turning me into skeptical mode. Did you ever ask your then current girlfriend what it was all about? How thick was the chain? Is it possible that it could've been rigged with magnets?

Anyway, when I was very young (about 8 years old or so), I used to either think or intentionally imagine (I can't remember which anymore) that there was a video camera either hidden or invisible (again, I can't remember which anymore) constantly recording everything I did. I'm not sure where this idea came from or when exactly it started, but I know I always used to pretend I was in a commercial for a biscuit I was eating, or whatever, when I was even younger (5 or so). Now, this went on for quite a while, might even have been years, i'm not quite sure, but this might be reminding you of something. That something kinda freaked me out when it came out, and that something is The Truman Show.

CN said his experiences happened around when he was 3-5 years old. I doubt he smoked then. His story does seem plausible... very strange.

Thats what I was thinking and more then likely that exactly what the dad did. They just want to scare the kid thats going out with there daughter.
