so last night i was at a party and was too drunk to go back home so i told my parents i would be sleeping over a friends house. at like 1 30 we go outside to smoke a few bowls. i only took 3 or 4 hits and let my two friends finish off the rest. about 5 minutes after we are done smoking we are in his kitchen and i start to just feel like all weirded out. Like everything just got all staticy and i had this loud ringing in my ears and got extremly dizzy. kind of like when you lay down on the couch for too long and get up real quick and u feel all dizzy i guess. so i just passed out and fell face first onto the floor, splitting open my chin. My friends brought me in to the bathroom and sat me down. they said i was white as a ghost and just staring into space, not responding to them at all. they were like screaming in my face also. I know it wasn't because of the booze because i had stopped drinking at like 10 30 and wasn't even that drunk anymore at that point. i've been smoking for about 2 years now and my two friends who have been smoking for only 2 months were completely fine.Any ideas on why this happened or any similar experiences?

alcohol takes a while to fully kick in. also i find smoking before drinking is a lot better. ive gotten sick from drinking and then smoking afterwards.

Its called the spins down hear. I feel like shit because of them today. The combination of alcohol then weed isnt very pleasurable. I got really sick from the spins last night and now im paying the consequences.

Did you eat food before drinking? If not it could be from that or it could be as the others have said. Drinking then smoking doesn't sit well with me either.

I've had this happen. I know that feeling of having ringing in your ears to the point that you can't hear anything, clouded vision, dizziness, feeling like it's a million degrees, etc.

Unfortunately, I don't know what causes it or what it is. I've been to my doctor about it and he didn't know either. He suggested perhaps a sudden decrease in blood pressure causes it.

Best thing to do, when you feel it coming on (which I usually do feel something start happening and I know it's coming), is to sit down and put your head between your knees, breathe deeply and slowly and just try to keep telling yourself to relax.

It's definitely not just a result of drinking or smoking because I've had it happen when I'm completely sober. It happens so infrequently for me that my doctor told me not to worry too much about it, but if it happens a lot for you, I'd let your doctor know what's up so he can run some tests or something.

Low blood sugar level? Alcohol and weed can both have an effect on metabolism and perhaps those couple of hits just 'pushed you over the edge'. I'd take Blondie's advice and make sure you eat while you drink.
