|  light my self on fire! About an hour an a half ago i found an old zippo that wasn't filled so i decide to fill it. I accsidentaly get some of the gas on the zippo so i wipe it( not good enough) and i got some on a towl that was just under me. So i filled it and then i did a test light and the zippo went up in flames and i droped it and it got on the towl and the towl touched my clothes so my clothes were on fire. Lucky i got the fires out before any real damage/injures were made.  Just thought i might share this. |

| They come in handy on grim days when a normal lighter can't handle the wind. Otherwise stick with a clipper ^__^. But damn dude setting yourself on fires a harsh thing to happen, least you didn't do too much damage htough eh? |

| Ooohh.. I love zippos too.. I've had mini-fire incidents but none as major as yours. Glad you weren't harmed. Did you stop, drop and roll? haha..

| i hear using zippos to light bongs and such leaves an unpleasant aftertaste on the weed because of the fuel that zippos use, and have also heard as far as its 'unhealthier' than other types of lighters for the same reason |

| I don't think you're supposed to smoke out of pipes, or i guess bongs with a zippo, it uses a differnt gas or burns differntly or something, so you get a fair bit of fuel in your toke, thus the nasty taste, so use zippos for joints and what not, and bics for pipes and bongs. |
