Due to the fact that she actually wants to know about your hobbies and about you making plans for the future it just seems like she's trying to guide you towards the right direction like all parents should do instead of being a soulless Nazi as it seems you believe she is. Unless you can get a well paying job at your age then you can imagine a life on your own as a cockroach infested, goodwill shopping, constant fast food munching time of pure misery and that is if you decide to take a breather from your dance with Mary Jane. I'm lower in the same boat you sit in but I know how to wash dishes, do homework, clean up the house, take out trash, cook for myself, go to church once in a while (Mom doesn't know I'm not a Christian) and keep my illegal activities separated from mainstream life. I hate being two faced but it makes me feel not as selfish when I drive my free car, sleep in my free room, buy free weed, eat free food and type this message with the hands my mom suffered to push out of her body for hours upon hours.

Here is the deal. Do not smoke pot. (I am sorry for the following off topic's but I feel compelled to tell this person about it.) Get some salvia divinorum, it is completely legal, and it is REALLY powerfull.

The best thing would be is to get your own plant. Also, get something to do. If you live near the coast, start to surf, if you don't, start to skateboard. If neither works for you AFTER you tried it, find something else to do.
Try and extend living with your parents untill you are 18, it is not that a long time. Pot isn't everything, do not ruin your life over it and become ammo for NIDA to scare kids.

oh please. salvia is the worst substitution for marijuana. the two highs are not even remotely comparable.

better than nothing? it's okay to be sober once in a while you know. you don't always have to replace one drug with another if you have to take a break from something, especially when you're as irresponsible with drugs as the OP seems to be

Sounds like you kicked yourself out. Do you expect your parents to be your bitch and beg you to stay when you threaten to walk out of the house?

The next time you kick yourself out, you're not coming back? That's some mighty dumb logic.

It sounds like you believe that your parents want you in the house more than you do; and that you have all the power because of this. You're using the threat of running away to get what you want. "I'll leave unless you let me smoke pot." That is really immature for someone your age.

By the way, if you leave your parents house, they stand to save about $100 on food, they don't have to give you rides or worry about where you are. You, on the other hand, are going to have to pay for your shelter, food, insurance, healthcare, and everything else. They are the ones with the power, not you.
