I am glad you worked things out. I can understand that you just had one immature moment because of a rush of emotians, it happens to the best of us. I actually feel it was wrong of the rest of the forum to rant on you, we all get "tantrums" every now and then. I also have to tell you right now I must say at times it is a GOOD thing that children have the control in SOME famalies, the rason being that chioldren these days are different, and if parents have the same TYPE of control of the old ways the children will become a quivering puddle of emotinal mush. (I speak from experiance on this one, I was put through that state for 2 years, I have never been the same since, but I am recovering, thanks to surfing and marijuana.) The best way to go will be if the parents can have a different type of controll, somewhat democratic, and rules have to count for everyone, and there should be no restrictions because of age, but because of emotional maturity. I am not going to give all my ideas right now, since that will take hours, but if you have to choose between the child having controll and the old style of controll, it is better for the child to have controll, but the best thing is if everyone was equal, and that the child and the parents must make rules TOGETHER and the child has to have the same voting power that the parents have (and if there are two parents and one child, the child counts as one body and the parents count as one body, if there are 5 children and one parent, the children counts as one body and the parents count as one body.)

In response to the OP, I think you should reconsider what you can realistically do at this point in life. I assume you don't have a great deal of income, many friends able or willing to support you, and little experience/education to qualify for jobs that pay enough to cover your expenses. This is not a jab at you; it's a depiction of nearly all 17-year-olds. I've been homeless, so I know all its horrors and facets, and I strongly recommend that you avoid them.

My mom always 'kicks me out' but that is only momentarily so it doesn't really count. I just call up a friend to hang with or drive 25mins to my dad's place to vent. The tension just reaches a peak and she acts as if she is dead serious and I will never be back in that house. But later that night she'll always call to apologize lol

After thinking over it a lot (not really) I actually feel W o O c H a advice was spot on. The OP ain't grown but he ain't a child either. To a very large degree he's moved past the point where his parents should be allowed to dictate his actions.If the OP had been homosexual would ya'll's advice been for him to stop being gay until he moved out on his own? Yeah I understand there is a differance between the two given the illegal nature of drug use but it's still some where in the same area of the same principal.

Which is why I feel W o O c H a advice wasn't that bad. The fact that Bud&Bluntman mentioned his parents bitching at him a lot about smoking pot indicates that he likely is not only using irregardless of their wishes but also flaunting that fact which is indeed disrespectful to the people who have done there best to raise you your entire life. If he's chooses to use he should do so away from their pressance and property and keep all drug related material out of their house. I'm not saying he should be sneaky about it, if they want to ask let them know, I'm just saying don't rub their nose in it.

The onus is on you Bud&Bluntman to prove that in all other areas your an upright fucking citizen, handle your buisness. In years to come (if you haven't already) you will realize how much of asshole you were to your mom and how now your now likely going to hell for making your mom cry, I know I also kicked myself out. Always show much love and respect towards your mom (pops can look after himself).

Being gay, something that scientists have proved is not something a person chooses to be (not saying that in a negative way either, even though it sounds like it) is no where near smoking weed. Weed is simply a luxury, not a necessity.
