|  Rodanthe NC One of the barrier islands that make up the outer banks. I just got back from a three day trip there with family who rented a beach house there. An awesome destination if you want to go to a nice beach area with out all the tourism. Great sound access for kayaking, which we did for the sunrise. It was awesome. Any other water sports would be awesome to im sure. And geuss what?! Theres a headshop right there on the island. I bought some papers there so I wouldn't have to bring my bowl with me. Was awesome. They have a nice selection and sell their own glass. They have bowls that are unbreakable(reasonably) also. A very quite area with a laid back atmosphere. Beach fires are allowed also  A must see spot in my opinion
