I was going to put this in the Drug War section but am not allowed to post new threads there so I figured this forum would do.
35,000 Pot Plants Seized In Harnett County - News - NBC 17

35000 plants were taken by the cops in Harrett County in NC. This is just outside of Raleigh NC. That was definately a big operation.

I saw that estimate the cops gave out. I kind of wonder if that was an inflated number.

Yes. I think it probably is.. My guess is that the actual number would probably be in the 15-25 million dollar range if all the pot from those 35000 plants was harvested, cured, and sold.

That is still a ridiculous amount of money! This whole thing is uncalled for. Why can't it be the good ole days when it was LAW to grow hemp plants?

You know some of them cops will be blazing. My friend has this 44 yr old lady who works with him whose husband is a dea agent, and he brings her home weed that he confiscates. He said she smoked him up at work, and she's going to be bringing in more to smoke with him. I wish cops didn't get away with that, but it happens.

Cops probably do that all the time. I am sure many of you have seen the video of the cop that confiscated some herb and then called 911 to say that he and his wife were overdosing on marijuana. hahahah....classic.
