| Thanks for the kind words everyone.  I do have a bit of good news. I was checking out craigslist, kijiji, and ebay today at work. And although I didn't find MY bass, I found one on Ebay being sold in Minnesota and it is exactly the same as my old one! The bidding closes in 2 days so I'm going to do my best to grab that one. Right now the highest bid is only $76 which isn't too shabby at all. I swear, if I end up snagging it, you don't even know how happy I'll be. If anyone's interested in what it looks like... Gibson Epiphone 4-String Bass, Black, Korea w/ Case, NR - eBay (item 200230821952 end time Jun-17-08 14:23:11 PDT) Just don't go outbidding me now!  Finally, Spiral, that's a wicked idea, buddy! Maybe a nice little song can come out of all this...

| Sorry to hear that. I have had my truck broken into 2 or 3 times. The first time they took a new pipe that I had just bought for $100. The second time was about a month ago, after going on a rafting trip, I came home and realized that someone had stolen my stereo and speakers. Don't sweat it though man, I believe in karma and that person will get theirs in the end.

| It's good to hear you got a replacement bass. My first guitar was an Epiphone Les Paul. I wouldn't want to lose her like that, not only for sentimental value, but i put seymour duncan pickups in place of the stock pickups. All instruments are like children, so losing a guitar is like losing a part of your family, which is the most heartbreaking thing. |
