I thought you (and all the other posters here) might find this news item interesting....Astronomers find batch of "super-Earths" - Yahoo! News

Our grasp of the universe just keeps getting more complex as time goes on, doesn't it?

This is not all that interesting. These are simply very large terrestrial planets. Nothing new...

They're making a lot of news about stuff that's been pretty well theorized for a while now (edited for clarity).

I've always been interested in space and stuff. It's crazy to think these planets are 42 light-years away. Another reason I like smoking buds, because it makes me stop - and think and realize just how amazing everything in the world is - It's unbelievable. From everything to outer space, to gravity, human body, the mind, atoms, cells etc.

Well, personally, I love it when they find new things out there. Despite the fact that it may have been theorized about previously. Finding proof confirms the theories.

They've found plenty of systems in similar patterns in the past. Heck, we're in one.

The logically assumption is that our system is nothing exceptional, when we have an average star, in what seems to be a relatively average system.
