So I was on my college campus today, and after one of my classes I had an hour to kill before the next one, so I decided that I would head off into the nature trails that are part of the school. I'd guess there's about 5 acres or more of beautiful nature trails. It's washington state, so its beautiful.

Anyway, I had about a gram and a half left and decided to make a spliff with the last cigarette I had on me (which hopefully is the last bit of tobacco I will ever smoke, tryin to quit!)

So everything was going swimmingly, the thing was burning perfectly, the perfect speed and all. I was about half way finished with it and suddenly I heard a car coming through the trails. My first reaction was WTF? I didn't even realize that cars could make it through these trails. So I glanced around a bit to see where this thing was coming from. I saw that there were in fact car sized dirt trails around, and that they had tire tracks all over them - so apparently CARS did come back there. I then got pissed at myself for not noticing or thinking about this sooner.

So, needless to say I was a little bit paranoid and worried at this point. I had no idea who was coming, and they were only getting closer. I wouldnt have been too worried if I were anywhere else, even if a COP pulled up and decided to use the long arm of the law on me. ;] ... but I was at school, and I am not sure what the schools policies are exactly, but I imagine I could actually get kicked out of school if they wanted to.

Like I said, the sound was coming closer, and it actually sounded like it stopped at one point. I looked around and felt like I was in the clear, maybe they were somewhere else. Maybe someone else who came back there for a smoke. I never actually stopped smoking my spliff, lol. I wasn't going to waste it, If I was going to get caught I was at least going to enjoy being caught.

So I was puffin away, then SHIT a security SUV creeps up towards me from behind these bushes, at I swear like 3mph. He was just glancing around, and saw me immediately. Honestly my heart jumped into my throat, in my mind I was like 'shit, here we go'.

So the guy steps out of the car, and I notice hes sniffing a little bit, trying to find out whats going on. I wait for him to say something, and he says - "How is it? Any good?"

I was like UH. (In shock a bit) Yea ??? Its pretty good. I was hesitant because I didn't know if he was just being sarcastic before he decided to bust me, but after I said that, he was like - "How about you let me take a puff and I'll forget I saw you back here". At this point, I was like whoa whoa whoa, okay whats going on here? Because the guy didn't really look too friendly or down with the mj, if I were to judge a book by his cover. But I really didnt have a choice. So I handed it to him and told him that there was a bit of tobacco mixed in, just in case he minded. And he said "even better" - and took the most magnificent drag off the sucka, it impressed me.

We actually stood there for 5-10 minutes finishing the thing, and talking - and I let him kill the thing as a last good gesture before I headed off back towards the main part of campus.

It was a crazy event. I was laughing about it later in class. And actually at the end of the day I saw the guy again driving around campus checking up to make sure cars had there parking permits, and he just gave me a lil thumps up and a wink and we were both on our way.

Haha. Was freaking awesome.

That is amazing! My friends and I normally toke on this nature trail by my house and it seems that we started a trend because now we see ENORMOUS groups of people going back to toke. We always go back to this wooden box you can sit in far back but not the smartest idea because it is the other end of the trail and homes are right there. While tokin' one time a dog sprinted past us with a little girl following close behind. As this happened we all ran to the other side of the box and laid down like some army crawl b.s. as the girl's parents walked by. Needless to say we were blazed out of our mind's pretending this was real-life Call of Duty 4. O yeah, I was still puffin' away as they walked past.

yay for great smoking stories!

I have one if anyone is interested...

It was about 3 years ago, I was smoking on this little panhandle in Anacortes, called Cap Sante, it is the highest and sunniest place in Anacortes, which was necessary because we were smoking with a magnifying glass. I got this strange urge to leave my wood and stone stash container with a little bud in it on one of the prominent rocks for someone to come across, so I did just that. About two weeks later, we returned to that spot, it had rained off and on for the last couple of weeks, and finally let up that morning. When we got there, there was this perfectly dry, very large bud sitting in that spot, the bud was at least twice the size of the one I left, and it was dry! That tells me that the person had been there that day, sometime right before we got there, I could have even passed them on the way up. It was a great day, karma at its finest!

Thats awesome. My bro-in-law had a similiar thing happen at a Yonder Mountain concert. He hit his piece, and stuck it back in his pocket, but not before security noticed. The guy came over and said said "Let me see it". At first, he tried to play dumb, but security wasn't having it. Finally the guard was like..."I wanna HIT it, not confiscate it!!!!" which seemed like a fair enough of a propisition to him!
