Thumbs up BBQ baby back ribs, and their master: ME



So, I decided a while back to make some ribs. Baby back ribs aren't common in Australia, and infact when you buy them from butchers they are labeled as 'American style ribs'.

So since that decision, it's now become a hobby, to make the perfect ribs, using the current tools I have. I will eventually get a webber BBQ but at the moment I only have a gas burner.

So I'm getting pretty close to nailing them. I created my own dry rub, I created my own BBQ sauce, and I'm just about done tinkering with the cooking time.

Is anyone else here a master of any sort of food? I really wanna get these perfect, and be known as the rib guy, like people that know me ask me to make ribs when they invite me to things etc.

So, here are some pictures of some recent triumphs:


These are from the time before the most recent. These were good, but didn't get to marinate over night in the dry rub, so the meat wasn't flavoured all the way to the bone
