Im 15, ive only smoked a few times so im not very experienced. I was just wondering where can i pick up a piece or pipe that isnt sketchy. I'm just looking for something compact/cheap and gets me baked. Thanks for any input.

Have you tried going to a local pipe shop and telling them you would like to buy a pipe for your Dad's birthday and what would they recommend?

If that doesn't work then I'm assuming you aren't allowed to buy a pipe if you're not 18. If that's the case ask a friend who is, or a friend who has a friend who is, to buy one for you.

Flea markets. Garage sales.

Just go to a local headshop... Browse like you would any other store, ask the clerks if you could see one you like, ask to purchase, leave.

DO NOT LIE TO THE CLERKS. DONT TELL THEM YOU INTEND TO USE IT FOR WEED, BUT DONT SAY ITS FOR YOUR DAD OR SOMETHING. CHANCES ARE IF THEY WORK AT/ OWN A HEADSHOP, THEY SMOKE TOO. THEY WILL HAVE PROBABLKY BEEN IN THE SAME PREDICAMENT AS YOU AND WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP

Both, good, but contradicting advice.

I'd say look around. Some headshop will sell to minors, others will give ya the boot (and probably rudely too).

If all else fails, go buy a bushel of apples and start figuring out how to use an apple pipe.

smoke shops definitely have many types of small concealable pipes, your age is the only problem. But like what has been already said some smoke shops will sell to minors, just find the right one.
