| my only advice, is don't do it. go to a piercer who knows what they're doing. 1. alcohol and fire will NOT properly sterilize the tools being used. they need to be autoclaved (sent through heat and pressure made to sterilize metal tools. autoclaves are the machines that doctors and surgeons use to sterilize their equipment). 2. 14-gauge is far too big for a surface piercing like an eyebrow to start out with, as your change of the piercing rejecting will be higher. most piercers would recommend 16-guage CBRs. 3. if you've SEEN your sister fuck up someone elses piercing, why in the hell are you letting her poke a hole in your head?? ![]() Quote:

| That really doesnt prove your point at all. Just because your ear didnt get infected, doesnt mean that the product helped, or that it should be used on an eyebrow (surface piercing) which is much more likely to reject of become infected. |

| Ear skin, is completely different compared to bare eyebrow skin. You also have to be aware of veins on certain points on the face. As a tattoo artist I really hope you don't go through with it. There are many things that can go wrong. Not to mention, you will have this piercing, hopefully for awhile. People around you, and yourself will have to look at your face everyday. It could be slightly off center, and make you incredibly frustrated. Of course, the transfer of bloodbourne pathogens can seriously effect you for the rest of your life. I have seen countless friends with infected piercings. And that shit ain't cool. Piercers are professionals. They get paid mostly to give you something you will cherish, with very small risks of infection with a perfectly placed piercing. Man up, pay the money, and get a good piercing. Actually going to a shop is a much better experience than a shaky hand friend trying to pierce tough skin without jamming it in multiple times. ...Just my two cents.
