Tonight my sister is going to pierce my eyebrow any one got any tips for this?
We got a clap thing the handles are the same scissor handles but the end it just like 2 little circles that clamp the skin then you put the needle threw the little circle clamps were using a 14 gauge needle and rubbing alchol to sterilize it i think your suppose to heat up the needle with a lighter to but not sure.

so far my sister pierced her lip her belly button and her friends belly button and shes 14, so idk if i want her to do it or if im going to do it myself but watching her pierce her friends stomach today wasnt pretty. First she poked her like 2 times in the wrong spot lol then after she got it in a little bit she couldnt push it all the way threw so she was slowly forcing it threw for about 10mins lol.

Anyways if some one has some experience with this stuff PLEASE HELP

Personally, I would not feel safe if a 14-year old was coming at my eye with a pin but that may just be me.

If I were going to have anything else pierced I would go to a licensed professional just I like I did the first time. I would reccommend that others do the same.

Oh wow.. that's really not a good idea. Why not splash out on the $50 to get it done professionally, and skip the infection and extra pain possibly caused by a piercing from an amateur.. not just an amateur.. a 14 year old kid

I hope she doesn't hit a nerve or anything.. I've heard that if you strike the right nerve at the right spot, you will permanently and irreversibly fuck up your eye. I don't know if that's reliable.. I read that before I had my eyebrow pierced (professionally I might add).

I doubt they are even that expensive. I got both my ears pierced with some nice, medium sized diamond studs and it was a total of about $46. Just one eyebrow piercing? Shouldn't be too expensive and you will have a better chance of no infections and such.

Getting an eyebrow piercing is a bit different than ear piercings though. I remember when I had my ear lobes pierced.. it took about 10 minutes and you can get them done just about anywhere. My eyebrow piercing took a lot longer than 10 minutes.. what with finding the correct placement and the sterilization and all.. time is money. I based the $50 based on what I had paid for mine.. which in actuality was about $75 CDN at an urban day spa.

If your sister's friend does the piercing you have a great risk of your body rejecting the piercing. It has to be at the right angle and the right depth to avoid this.. and sometimes your body will reject a piercing even if it's done professionally.

In my opinion don't do it. Especially if you are a guy.. guys with their eyebrows pierced look ridiculous. But I am here in California so depending on where you live it might be different..

Also having a 14 year old pierce your eyebrow? Don't take a risk of getting an infection. Especially after you said she was poking around a few times while piercing her friends belly button.

Go to a licensed piercing studio, your sister piercing your eyebrow might turn out well but if not you might end up with a terrible and expensive invention. If your idea of a licensed piercing studio is a mall booth or the back room at claire's then you might be better off with your sisters work.

Yeah I wouldn't let my 14 year old sister poke me with needles. Go to an actual piercing shop, your eyebrow piercing should cost about 50-60 bucks, not too much. Plus the fact that you cant clean those kinds of piercings with just water and soap or or peroxide (it dries out the skin cells and messes up the healing process), you need a special solution. I got my lip pierced a month ago and the guy gave me sea salt and a whole packet of instructions on what to do. Those guys know what they're doing and have been doing it for a long time, usually. I would definately rather pay 50 bucks for a safe piercing than risking the infection or risking my lil sis screwing up.
