Basically the shit hit the fan at my house yesterday.

My parents found a blow tube and an empty baggie in my room. I told them they were from last year. The knew i smoked last summer, but after i got busted by the cops i told them i stopped. They said they believed me but they then gave me a drug testing cup and said we are watching you take this right now. I told them straight up that i would fail if i took it. My mom then began to cry and my dad told me that he is forcing me to find professional treatment and wants me to stay in an in patient rehab center INSTEAD if going back to college next year. My parents claim that i can never amount to anything in life if i smoke weed. They are drug testing me randomly every month until i graduate college (atleast 3 more years possibly 4). I convinced my dad against the rehab as long as i pass every drug test.

I rolled all the weed i had into one huge blunt of headies (1.5 grams) and i am smoking it as i type as my this. I am going to stop definitely until i am free from financial burden of my parents. They think weed is evil and want me to stay far away so i have to respect that. I might start back up again once im out of college but i dont know. Weed almost doesn't seem worth the punishment where i live (georgia). I'll still stop by the site at times to remember the cool people from the site. Thanks for reading this....

That sucks, your 20, how could they force you into rehab? If they are helping to pay for your college I could see them as maybe threatening to stop funding. I could see that as a reason to quit, that and living under their roof they see it as their rules even though your over 18 and weed bein illegal so they don't want it in their house. Nice that you can celebrate your last smoke session with a blunt of headies. It sucks but atleast your putting education before weed and proving to your parents that you could go without pot and also not need rehab to do it. Now that's what you call bein responsible. The pot will always be around if you ever decide to smoke again in a few years, your putting your future first.

Seriously though man, I wish you all the best. Here's hoping you can change your parents minds, or at least come to terms with the fact that you wont be smoking for a while...

Either way, at least you have your priorities in order, and when it came down to it you chose School over Pot. The right move every time.

Yeah just cause you might not smoke pot anymore or for awhile doesn't make this site useless. Theres plenty of threads around here that you could still post in.

First of all, good choice my man. Im happy for you, even though you can no longer smoke weed. Dont leave the forums though. Maybe your parents will stop the tests sometime and you can smoke some weed later on in life. Think of whats ahead, not about what already happened...

I appreciate the support guys. I know my parents will never change their mind about pot anytime soon. They dont care so much about the heath effects, more of the fact that smoking it can end me up in jail again, which there isnt a real method to defend against. Im not too upset, this summer it seemed like weed was pretty much taking over my social life, so it will be good to branch out. I start at a new school in a few weeks that im hoping i can find a bunch of cool non smoking buddies.

It will be good for me to stop smoking for a while. From the first time i smoked, i started smoking everyday and never really quit for more than a month so i could pass a drug test for a job. Having a clear mind could change a few perspectives i currently have.

Dont worry about me leaving the site anytime soon, ill still stop by to spread my knowledge and chill with all the cool people.

You apparently are living with you parents while going to school. I think it is great that you respect them enough to quit while you are living in their house, regardless of how old you are.

No i dont live with my parents while i go to school, but i do live 20 minutes away from them and they pay for all my shit.

That sucks man. I WOULD say I feel your pain but my situation is a bit different, goes like this...In west philadelphia born in raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days. jk. Anyways really heres my story. A few days I ago I smoked in the bathroom from an apple pipe. I threw the pipe out. My sister comes in the room says "why you sleeping so early" I say "Im tired." she says "are you lieing to me" I say obviousy "no" She says "why does the bathroom smell like smoke" I said "it doesent (I was so baked, and Im super baked now" then she shows me the fruit she took out of the garbage and said "it smells like smoke, quit being so fucking sketchy. Whatever your doing...stop your a smart kid ok." Then she left. I almost shit my pants. I dint stop I just smoke when the biotchhhhhhhh aint home. REspect to my homies rofl.
