Alright fellow stoned travelers...someone give me the rundown on LV from a smoker's perspective! The wife and I are headed that way the last weekend of September, and neither of us have ever been. I need to know cool places to see, fun things to do, the locations of any remarkable headshops, and of course, suggestions on safe smoking places. Any and all input would ber appreciated.....I don't get out of this general a whole lot, so I'm really looking foreward to this trip and hope to make the best of it.


By the way, my airfare and hotel for the wife and I are both basically FREE!!! We priced the trip at just under 500 bucks overt the internet.....and then,less than an hour later, I won $500 playing video poker off of an investment of 10 bucks!!!!!!! It was a sign saying I MUST take my wife to Vegas for our 4 year anniversery (actually, we're going a week before our actual anniversery, but hey, thats a minor detail!!)/

sadly, never been. want to tho, imagine the casinos are fuckin trippy as hell with all them flashing lights and buzzers and bells n shit. i've been told by people that've gone there that if you're a tourist, stick to the strip. the rest of it is just sketchy. keep in mind, its what i've heard.

I've been there once but I didn't smoke there cause I didn't find anyone with bud there, not that I looked all that hard in the first place. Theres a cool headshop I think its on the main strip. You just walk towards the stratosphere and you'll eventually see a shop with a big pot leaf on it. I remember them having cool stuff like gas mask bongs and stuff. Have fun out there man. Tear that town up.

Have fun TM. Vegas is an awesome place to vacation at. Where are you staying?

The Strip in general is a cool place to hang out while high. They have these cross over (the streets) bridges. To walk across and see alll the casinos and lights, looks pretty surreal if you've never been there before.

At the Mirage they have a volcano (in the middle of the street) that goes off (at least ) every hour. Treasure Island has a free pirate show outside their casino (they changed it, but still pretty cool. ) Venetain, is just like Venice and gondolas you can ride in and a wax museum with a special section with movie horror guys. The Wynn has a Ferrari museum. Mandolay Bay has a shark and marine life exhibit, pretty cool, but IDK if it's worth the cash, but hey it's Vegas. The Stratosphere is cool, you can go up to the top, and they have a nice restaurant, rollercoaster and a few other rides on top of the "needle". It's cool to just walk around the casinos and check them out. The Paris has a replica Eiffel Tower that you can go up and see. You gotta go downtown (Fremont St.). They closed it off and covered it with what they call "The Fremont St. Experience", It's a lighted canopy. Basically an overhead light show, very cool. Some casinos have game rooms and rollercoasters.... Circus Circus is cool for the kids as well as New York New York, and Sahara (not as much, but the have pretty cool rollercoaster). Excalibur is cool, you can have dinner at the Tournament of Kings, It's a medieval show with knights showing off their skills to the King. You get dinner, a game hen (no utensils, as you are in medieval times)

As far as smoking, do it in the hotel room. Vegas is very strict on MJ. I wouldn't risk doing it outside. Security won't care. Once when we were leaving. We had a bunch of weed left over. So we decided to smoke all we could before checking out. While I was leaving to go to my room, this security guard rode the elevator with me. I must've smelled like a weed factory and he didn't give a shit about it.

I'm sure there a quite a few headshops there. I only know of one though. Between the Sahara (Sahara side) and Stratoasphere there is a tatoo and headshop, Can't miss it, they have big lighted MJ leaf in the window. Not the greatest but I remember they had some very cool glass bongs and hookahs (it's where I bought mine).

As you can tell, I've been to Vegas a time or two, but there a few things off the top of my head.

Hookahs, come on, you missed the best strip attraction... the Bellagio fountains! They be awesome. And if you go inside, there's a bar that has a patio that looks out on them with misters to keep you nice and cool... I'm sure you can get a fauxjito or something and enjoy the view

Also, if you are looking to do some shopping, you might want to mosey on over to Caesar's Palace and check out the Forum shops. They also have a killer magic show there, at least they did last time I went. I think it's a regular thing though.

To my distress, the Desert Passage is gone as Aladdin is now Planet Hollywood, so the shops there are Los Angeles themed now. Right, tourists want Los Angeles. Suuure.

If you can, you guys should get tickets to at least one Cirque du Soleil show, they're awesome to the max... I can't imagine what it'd be like to see one high!

And if you rent a car (not always necessary in Vegas), you can gop on out to the grand canyon, though I'm sure there's probably a bus that goes out there. Everyone should see the Grand Canyon at least once in their life... if you haven't, see if you can get there! Another possibility is the massive Hoover Dam, if giant hydroelectric plants are more your style!

And another thing that you'll love if you have the cash to spend- Penn and Teller, at the Rio, 5 days a week. Go for it. Splurge. The show is totally worth it.

And food...? Vegas is a great town for food. Trust me, you won't have trouble finding a good place to eat

Penn and Teller is cool, I saw that show and O (Cirque Du Soleil)
when I was there last.

Also cool drinking places; Margaritaville (across from Caesars Palace )and outside of Ceasars they have pina colda bar that is nice on a hot Vegas day.

There is also a cool little water show at Ceasars ( in Forum Shop area) every half hour or so.

I've never been to Vegas, some of my friends have took a vacation out there. Few days ago I watched a video on youtube of the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino. I heard they took away the roller coaster that rides on top of the tower and put some other rides in but it still looks like they have some crazy ones on the tower.

If you are hungry NOTHING beats Vegas buffets...

Anything you would want to eat - they have. I went to the buffet in the Rio and it was gigantic. But you'll leave weighing 10 pounds heavier hah

And as for attractions they have it all.. it's Vegas! You can even take a gondola ride inside of the Venetian.
