Today was a really interesting day for me.. (As you're reading this keep in mind im baked and mildly intoxicated.. so be ready for bad spelling and randomness thats totally pointless..)
So this morning I ate a pot brownie that I had cooked up a few days ago for breakfast, and drank a sprite/vodka mix all day at school today, made everything funny and awesome of course. I'm pretty sure it made me better at academics also..
But after school, I had to go to work, and by this time i was sobering up. so of course, i drank more, smoked alot, and ended up enjoying myself surprisingly. It was hella busy (im a cook in a restaurant) and we were all kinda cranky by the end of the night. And our new dishwasher was flailing pretty badly. So i helped him close.. It took us an hour and a half to finish. So by the time we are finally done, it's 11:30, I'm high as a kite, extremely tired, and not wanting to work at 9 am the next day. But I think to myself, " Self, don't worry. Even though you can barely stand, it's gonna be just fine. So smoke a bowl. Or two. Or three."
So im biking home. And im sure this has happened to you if you dont live in a really big city.. But you're at the stoplight, it's red. Theres no one coming for miles, and you don't know why the light changes when theres no one even coming. But i digress. Of course, I wanna get home. So I run it. And guess what? The only guy behind me is a cop.
So he speeds up, sirens and lights ablazing. My inner dialogue is going something like this:
"SH!T!"
"Talk about the worst timing for a talk with a cop. I've been drunk all day, I'm stoned. My pipe and lighter are in my pocket. I'm f*cked."
"Maybe I can talk my way out of this.. I'm not slurring my speech yet.. I hope..."
"Aw, SH!T!
The cop was actually one of the nicer ones I've met. He was kinda jokey about the red light thing. Like, "Aw come on, You know better, follow the rules..." He didnt ticket me and i didnt even have my license on me cause I was riding my bike and wasn't gonna need it.. But he decided to "Give me a warning." Because he can really affect me with that..
But for some reason as he drove away, I started to cry. And i felt like a such a child, crying about getting in trouble. Though I didnt even get in trouble, and for some reason it just made me cry harder.
I don't know about you guys, but when i start crying I end up thinking of things that just make it worse... So I biked the 2ish miles home, crying. About stupid, petty little things.
I dont really understand myself sometimes.
It could have had something to do with the fact that I was not in my "right mind" the whole day but honestly, I don't know. I was having fun til then.

Has anyone else had a wierd day they wanna tell about..?
Anyone who wants to should offer some insight, or an experience of their own..

There are bike laws, so it would not surprise me. I just don't see the bike laws enforced very often, i.e.-bikers without helmets, etc.

In my state the bike laws are pretty much the same for car laws. This is big down at the beach tourist area. Where plenty of people get DUI's while riding a bicycle.

ive seen a couple of my friends break down and cry for various reasons a few times when they were high and mildy drunk. I dont think its a very uncommon thing, but its is funny as shit sometimes

my friend and i biked like 2 miles last night just to pick up a sack. See normally I would've just driven, but I had been drinking, and i don't fux with drunk driving. then a 1/4 of the way back the front tire on my bike blew out, and i still rode it all the way back. It was SO HARD! It was a piece of shit bike that initially my friend rode (I had the nice one on the way to the guys house) and he did nothing but bitch so I switched with him.

Some real repressed stuff comes out when people get stoned or drunk. I've cried when I was messed up before, and I know others who have done it too. Sometimes revelation makes you cry.
