So I moved to a new town last year and brought a pretty decent supply with me. Well, it's been a year now and the stash is down to one decent nugget left and I still haven't found any place to buy locally.
I hear Austin is supposed to be huge for it, and I've been going to the bars that people recommend but so far no luck. I'm too old to hang in the college places (mid 30's) so I'm at a total loss. I moved into a more professional role when I relocated here to none of the people I work with seem to be into it either. Any suggestions?

Ya it was a couple oz. I did a small re-fill when I drove back to Nashville for a annual party this spring, but I don't see myself making that drive again. 850 miles each way is too much to get smoke. I flew out there for the roo so wasn't able to reload last trip. Now I'm down to shake :-(
I got a friend who says they have a hookup in Houston but it may be a while before they make the trip so til then I'll be picking beer up again I guess

Ya the problem I've been running in to is the people I've become friends with here aren't into the scene and don't seem to know anyone who is. When you work too much and you're in your mid 30's it's tough to friend hop until you find the "right" friends too. People already kind of have their group of friends so it just seems to take a lot longer. I've been given directions to the most likely places by a few bartenders and door guys but so far nothings panning out. It's tough making connections when you're flying solo in a new place because coming out and asking imo looks a little suspect. On top of that my appearance doesn't help I'm sure. I kind of look like a narc, but unfortunately there isn't much I can do to change that :-( Then again maybe I'm just overly cautious but I've got too much to lose after working my way up to an exec level position having not finished college. If I were to lose my job I'd really struggle to find another in this pay range sans degree.
It's cool though. Much as I prefer my smoke to anything else, I can handle a month without. Hell I took a 4 year break in the early 90's to serve in the military, though how I managed to pass my entry test when I smoked out two nights before heading to basic training is beyond me. Water pills FTW I guess! I'm just glad the co I work for doesn't do testing other than when you first get hired. 8 years and never seen it done once.

Ahhh well back to leveling my new Death Knight in the WoW beta. Not as fun sober though lol

It's tough being older. It seems like back in the high school and college days, I couldn't walk down the street without catching that sweet aroma and some friendly people that were glad to share.

Now I'm older and it definitely takes a lot more effort. Haven't had much time to spend on the search lately, so I've been dry about 2 months now. Well anyhow, best of luck to you.

Is there any specific reason why you cant just go to a college campus and ask around besides you feel your too old? Im sure if you just head down and ask a few students at least one of them will be willing to help out.

If I'm honest with myself, I guess not. I just think it comes across as kinda creepy hanging around the youth. Also, I'm older and I think that makes me look like a narc or something. Definitely don't get the warm reception I used to get when I was younger.

And today is ice cold. ha, gotta wait for a nicer day, I think.

Any suggestion on time of day to go asking? Early evening?

its a plant guys...grow your own. You seem to be in a living situation that could support at least a hidden micro cabinet.

do search for 12/12 with CFL's...in soil in two months you could have oz's. It works, its easy, and it's cheap..
