It seems im on the other side of the fence, everytime im high I become a little less social, and I dont talk as much to people I run into let alone make new friends or aquaintences

Not every time, but this has happened to me before. A cool bunch of Yankee "Detroit Rock City" kids drunkenly ambushed me and my friend when we were road-tripping to the northern border and stopped in the Devil's Hopyard, Connecticut (a little state park).

Me and my friend were from Alabama and Texas, respectively. These guys were from Michigan, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Needless to say, there was a bit of a culture shock. Two sets of strong accents and serious preconceptions, but we had a common interest in our love of weed, love, and southern rock n' roll.

We ended up hanging out all night with them, smoking, playing rummy, singing to the guitar, trying to build a fire (to mixed results, due to our state of intoxication), and doing a few off-topics as well. Most fun I've ever had in the woods in my life.

Actually, some of the most fun I've ever had in my life, period. Those guys are still my homeboys from the wild North.

Cliff, Pat, Stoner, Pompeii...this post is for you, buds. Summer '07 lives on.
