When I read the name of this thread, I thought you were talking about a pipe when you said, "Is this a good $40.00 piece?" I soon realized you were talking about marijuana when I looked at the pictures.

Honestly, if you paid $40.00 for that small of an amount of marijuana, I think you got ripped off. Even if it's KB. I'm going by the pic of the bud next to the pencil. Of course, it is very hard to tell by only seeing a picture/pictures.

It looks close if not an 8th which depending on quality can defiantly be more than $40 and not be considered a rip off. Honestly no one can tell but you(or somoene else) when you smoke it. If you are new to smoking you may not know how to really tell.

I mean from my stand point...I can get a half (14 grams) for $45 of mids, but if it's good shit and you get a good high off it $40 isn't terrible.

to me to seems like you did not get ripped off very badly. From the last picture, it looks like some pretty good bud and it looks around 2 grams. You should have paid a little less or got a little more bud, but all in all its not too bad. Ive been ripped worse before.

this is what happened. i gave him 20 bux one day and then he was supposed to give me the dub that night but his parents found his stash. so the other day, he told me if he gave me 20 more bucks then he would give me a good 40. so other people chipped in too so he could get a good amount and shit. and then today in school, a girl that also chipped in came up to me told me she has the shit so she gave me mine but i thought it was a 20 and most of u are sayin i got ripped off so i'll ask him next time i see him. thanks.

That could easily be 2 grams to an 8th. The only way to tell is a scale, or at least take the marijuana out of the bag and take a picture up close.

I'd go and talk to the dude directly, perhaps the girl is shiesting you.

All depends on the quality of the bud, and how densely its packed in there. If it were just mids then yeah you got ripped off. But that bud doesn't look to bad ;P so I wouldn't worry.
