So I missed the bus, had to walk home. came home to find my laptop smashed to pieces. got on my old pc to find out one of my friends got shot.

Bud is always there for me. It will always be there for me to make things better.

Sitting in my basement burning with 4 friends. My father comes downstairs, and we didn't even notice we were so stoned. He stared at us passing it around for like 2 minutes before any of us realized he was there. He comes over and sits down, and the most unexpected words -- words I was sure of I would never hear, he says "Pass that."

i'm not sure how to respond to that; whether words of condolence for your friend and laptop are in order, or words of praise for having a cool dad. either way, i would agree that is one of the shittiest days, with one of the coolest ways to end it.

you should ask him about smoking weed, i bet he'l have some cool stories about being stoned in ridiculous places.

That's so fucked up!! Great ending tho. Sorry about your friends, laptops are always available though, unless you have economic problems, then u shud stop smoking weed as it's an expensive habit, unless u buy cheap weed.

My condolences go out to you, your friends, and your friends' family. I know what it's like to lose a close friend, and it sucks. I'm glad your dad didn't flip out on you, though. Perhaps he went easy on you because he knew you were having such a shitty day?

And yeah, marijuana has a tendency to bring people together during rough times. When my friend Kris got stabbed, we knew he wasn't going to make it, and we had two other friends in the hospital with critical injuries as well from the same incident. I think the only thing that got us through it without retailiating against the guys that did it was the fact that we were all hanging out in his basement smoking and telling stories about some of the good times we've had with him, since they wouldn't let us in the hospital (he was in ICU at the time).

Good luck with everything, and again, I'm sorry about your friend.
