hey... well I've been out smoking twice... both times I sat and watched everybody else get high around me but I am quite convinced that it wasn't affecting me as much. I felt the most effect like an hour later and it was nothing like "being hit like a train" that I'm told about... I just felt a little sluggish and tended to focus on little things longer than normal. anyway I've heared stories of people not getting high until their second time and one story of someone not getting high till their third time. how common is this? is it possible for smoking to not affect someone as much as others?

I do think it might take a couple times of smoking to get really high, I didn't get high for the first time until the 3rd too. But i think that i didn't know how too inhale properly, but im sure you start to feel it soon.

i've been using a pipe. u hold the lighter in it, take a deep breath, hold, hold, exhale. is that right?

You've probably heard this, but really make sure you're getting the smoke into your lungs. 99% of the time that is the reason people don't get high until their 2nd or 3rd try. They're simply just taking the hits wrong.

This is very true. After you light it and pull in, open your mouth and inhale fresh air. Hold it like 3 seconds, and exhale.

I didn't get high until the 3rd-4th time, don't remember! Been so long.

yah dude, i never got high when i used my bowl because the hits were too harsh and i would always cough and shit and eventually i got fed up of the bowls i was wasting barely gettin high at all and i packed the rest of my stash (like .5 ish) into a joint and just smoked the whole thing in like 5 minutes. finally i got friggin blazed off my ass and that was the first time i ever really got high. i think it was like my fifth time...now im sellin my pipe to a friend for like 35 and just usin joints from now on or if my other friend brings his bong.

dude, that is what being high is, or somewhat buzzed..
being high is different from being drunk in a way and i am not sure how everyone else is but when i get high, i feel the same effects as if i were blazed, but with less intensity

dont expect a totally out of body expirience intill you start smoking better strains man, and also, dont worry about getting high, trust me, if you just chill and relax and let the weed do its thang then you will be high in no time haha

dont worry about being as high as your friends because i am not going to lie, i have acted higher than i really was and that is probably(assuming you and your friends are fairly new lol) what your friends are doing
just take it easy, have a good time,
