|  Putting my cat to sleep. This afternoon I have to put my kitty to sleep. I'm really upset, she's only 9. She has stopped eating and she can hardly even move, so I had to make the decision. This fucking sucks!  I still remember picking her out from the pet shop and when she was so tiny she could fit in the palm of my hand...  |

| Sorry to hear about your cat. Five years ago our 16 year old cat died of cancer, she had a big tumor in her stomach. We had tests done on our cat and they found nothing, we knew something wasn't right and brought her to the vet again and then they found a huge tumor that they didn't find about a month earlier and said there was nothing they could do. We got her when I was 4 and my sister was about 6 so she grew up with us. We didn't put her to sleep but we probably should have, she died in front of us. |

| She has Feline CRF(kidney failure) with anemia. I feel like I failed her too because if caught early it's manageable. I should have taken her to the vet more. |

| im so sorry to hear that, my kitty died when he was 2 years old, i was 8 years old and he died from a lung disease, my older brother found him on the couch dead and he called my mom in cuz he was 11 and she told him he was dead, then when they picked me up from my friends house my mom took me by the river and told me and i remember i couldnt stop crying for like 3 days and when i went to school everybody was asking me what was wrong and i cried again in the lunch room...it sucks losing someone you love. |

| Well, it's done. It really was terrible, but necessary. I haven't cried since I was eight, and I bawled like a baby on the way home.  It's so strange not having my little fluff ball purring and rubbing against my legs while I sit on the computer. |
