How come some people smoke pot all day everyday when they can only get so high and they know that, complain about running out of weed or not enough money to buy it because their going through it so fast? Is it like a competition to see how much they can go through??

I was watching that new show that aired, Celebrity Rehab, think it was on VH1, Dr. Drew runs it. They had that chick from Family Matters on it, the girl that played as Judy, Jamie Foxworth or Foxworthy, somethin like that. She said she was smoking all day every day at just about every hour. She was smoking for over 10 years.They interviewed her mom, she said her lungs were black from all her years of smoking that much. I don't know how the hell she smoked as much as she said she did. She went to Dr. Drews rehab and he told her that for coming off pot it wasn't going to be easy because of how much she was smoking or somethin.

i think its the self esteem issue. they feel good cause they can smoke so much pot. but i agree its stupid and wasteful

It has a lot to do with tolerance, too. After a while, a gram doesn't work so you start smoking two grams, and eventually you're smoking ridiculous amounts in a day.

its good you realize your mistake

being so young, pot can easily mess up my life which is why i have to be very responsible about my usage. i smoke very infrequently, but when i do, i enjoy it fully

So basically from what I read, they do it because they think that the more they smoke the better they are.

The people you described in your original post seem to have some dependence issues. They make the connection that weed = fun (which it is), but then they also equate that no weed = no fun (which is not true). Thus they are fiends for weed since they don't want to have a boring time and want to continue their 'good' feelings. They make themselves believe that they can't happily function without weed.

For the enjoyment of the herb. I smoke anywhere from 1-10 times a day and always get super gone when i want to off small amounts at that. I usually don't complain when I'm out. But I know people who do quite a bit, and they are complaining because they are frustrated with being herbless. Now why would that come off as showing off or being competitive? Where is your logic?

I've smoked almost every day, 1-10 times a day for the past two-3 years and I still continue to get wrecked on very small amounts. But I guess I'm showing off, and only getting so high, thinking I'm better than everyone because of my chronic use! HAHA..

Some people smoke like that, because they have nothing better to do than sit around and get stoned all day. You would do the same if you could.......Trust me.
