haunted house maybe a bad idea=P

So me and a couple friends went to this haunted house last Saturday (hauntedhousenyc.com) and on the way there we smoked a couple grams of snow haze. After smoking the blunt we went inside and I was really paranoid the whole time about one of the actors having a gun because they actually acted mentally disturbed. In one of the rooms I walked in and I saw a guy standing on a stage with a gun shooting at the wall trying to display that it was a real gun. I thought I heard him say something along the lines of "they thought they're paying me to work here!" and acting like he was about to go on a rampage. I stepped out of the room because I thought it was real. After I stepped out one of my friends told me to come back in and that they were going to the next room. Now I ask my friends and even e-mailed the haunted house asking them if a room contained this and they all said it never happened and that they wouldn't have a gun in a haunted house. I only really tripped for about a minute but everything seemed so real that now I have little flashbacks of the incident. Has anyone had an experience similar to this?

I guess that would be a logical explanation though because this is one of my biggest phobias.

Ive never been a huge fan of haunted houses. I get scared very easily, exp when i'm high.

What you just described was a Haunted House.

Nothing more, nothing less.

People are paid to scare the shit out of you.

Even without the "snow haze" you would have been paranoid.

I used to work in a haunted house. Anything and everything can be used as a prop...as long as it's not real. What you saw were actors with fake guns made to make you think it was real. If anything, the e-mail was to scare you MORE. I knew the owner of my haunted house pretty damn good and he LIVED for scaring these people, even though he was a really mellow guy most of the time. One year, if we made them piss their pants, we got a $50 bonus each time if they were over 18. I've made plenty of kids cry and loved every minute of it

. I really love kids, but if they're coming into my haunted house, they are all game...

Anyways, it sounds like a pretty good haunted house. The point is for you to be scared, and to think it's real..and it did a pretty good job at that obviously

well i believe that the person in the haunted house accomplished his goal he made you scared. that is what they are doing dressed up in a scay outfit with a gun, yu paid to go see somebody that would scare you. i suppose that you werent expecting the acting to be as good as it was
