Stuffy nose...

Lately when I smoke, and especially when I vape, I get a stuffy nose. This is highly counter productive to the biggest reason I smoke.. (to sleep), and is really annoying. Does this ever happen to you? Or, anything weird, for that matter?

yeah this happens to me sometimes but not all the time. I dont know why it happens but i def. feel your pain

This seems to happen to me too. Although I'm blazed at the time and its hard to really feel it, haha, i find it hard to breath in and out. Not necessarily like i can blow out snot and stuff, just blocked up by something and then it goes away.

Actually, this happens to me quite often. My hypothesis is that the vapor 'dries out your sinuses' because it is warm and has low humidity. In fact, last night it was pretty bad.

I ended up taking my dog for a walk. The cold air and walking cleared it right up and I was right as rain.

In order to get rid of a stuffy nose, you need to make it run. Get cold. Take a shower. Have tea. Spicy food. Exercise.

Well I think you just have a cold, and smoking while having a cold will definitely slow down the healing process....at least with my colds its like that. Take a 3 day smoking break then toke up with clean sinuses

Your salivary glands aren't the only mucus membranes that get dried out from the effects of THC. I get the stuffy nose thing all of the time. I treat it with a saline nasal spray - no drugs, just water, salt, and a little preservative.

Dude you may have hay fever brought on by the weed...happens to me all the time...before you smoke take benedryl or other kind of anithistamine. It should help

I appreciate all the support but I think Buzzby's advice is the one I'll be taking... and even though many people's hypotheses correlate well, I really doubt that I'm actually *sick* because it happens every single time I vape, and often when I smoke. The two are directly related..
