I'm looking to go on a road trip with a few buddies to Winnipeg or Toronto or something for a good time in some pot friendly city. Any one got any ideas of where to go or what to do? Im coming from Milwaukee, never been to Canada and heard there is some good buds up there. My buddy Chris in the marines has leave and a good vacation would be awesome. Anyone got any ideas?

Toronto is pretty lax (about weed) and will have TONS of parties around the city, especially in the club district (downtown around richmond and adelaide area). I wouldn't recommend walking down the street smoking a jay, but there are places like the hot box cafe where you can vape and stuff.
Winnipeg will probably be really f*cking cold, and covered in snow. It's more of a rural area, but I'm sure they've got some pretty good parties in the city too.
Personally I'd stick to Toronto it's more populated, and all of the clubs are mostly within walking distance of each other. And there are TONS of bars as well. Depends what you wanna do, but overall, I'd say Toronto has more options.

Well iv been pretty much everywhere In Canada, Other then Nova Scotia... What time of the year are you planning on going? If your going in Winter... do not go to Winnipeg (also known as winterpeg). Personally I wouldnt go to Winnipeg to experience Canada any time of the season.

If your looking for the pot culture go to Vancouver... If your a country fan and like sexy cowgirls go to Calgary... If you like simple minded people and being bored go to Newfoundland... If your going in the Summer and you want nice beach's I recommend going to a small place called Grand Bend (its on lake huron, very nice beachs and so many hot chicks.) I also like Muskoka. Now if you really want to have fun clubbing and you want to be in a very diversified culture go to Montreal!(yes its 1/2 french but its soo fun) Im curently right near montreal.

Toronto just isn't that great in my opinion, maybe its because I have been there so much... but personally its just another big city and your not going to experience the true Canadian Culture by only going there.

Regardless of where ever you go in Canada you shouldnt have to much trouble finding good weed. Do some research and find out when there will be a Marijuana March and go then!


Edit* I noticed u said for New Years... if you can make it to Montreal then go there! It might be a little to far for you to drive tho so maybe you should just go to Toronto, Im sure you will have fun there too. Just not as much fun haha.

PS - Drinking Age in Montreal is 18

I live in montreal and honestly if you like pot and parties you can not go wrong here. I really recommend it.

but out of just toronto and winnipeg, i'd pick toronto.
