Meteor Shower this weekend

The next meteor shower will be the Geminids this Saturday night December 13th into Sunday morning of December 14th. The hourly rate can be anywhere from 50-100 per hour. But, I have read that in the recent years the hourly rate has intensified to 120-160 per hour, but this is most likely under the best conditions. The best time to view this meteor shower is at their peak which is from 1-3 AM on December 14th. The moon will be out, so try to block yourself from the moonlight because the meteor shower will be more visible. You can do this by using a tree, an umbrella, or something else. It will also be cold, so bundle up to keep warm.

I have seen a good amount of meteor showers and when it is not cloudy, which for me is like half the time I try to see them, it is one of the coolest things to see. I smoked some green before one of the meteor showers and it was awesome. I recommend you guys should try and take a look, it is worth it

I always check out meteor showers, and this one is no exception. I love looking at anything celestial.

Damn right now I'm dorming in Philly so I dunno if I'll get to see it. Maybe if I went home but train tickets suck on the wallet.

Thanks for the info, I knew when the meteor showers happened in the summer, wasnt sure about when it was in the winter. I will be sure to smoke a fattie and watch the skies.

Man, I've missed the past 3 meteor showers, and being in Canada in winter, chances are it's going to be cloudy as hell.

Hoping not, though, it'd be awesome to check out.

Sounds awesome me and my friends will deffinitly check that out. Spitz if you live in the toronto area it`s only supposed to be a little cloudy and not obscenly cold.

i always seem to miss these, but not this time, thank you. Ah if only it wasnt winter i would go camping in the mountains or in the desert with some friends, that would be sweet, ohwell
