Molasses

Has anyone tried one of these? Recently about a week ago I tried making one. (Mostly because I didn't want smoking to affect my health...)

Anyway, it works great. I bought a dollar candle at the dollar store and just hold the lightbulb about an inch or two over the flame and watch the vapor swirl up. It feels really awesome watching the vapor swirl around because you just think of how much THC is in it, and you know the hit won't burn your throat or shit on your lungs so you can hold it in for as long as you want.

Another thing awesome thing is that it really has little to no smell. I've vaped with this lightbulb various times and my parents would come in within 10 minutes after and notice nothing (the candle has a slight scent too, and any very small smell can be understandably blamed on the candle).

My point is these vaporizers are perfect if you feel that smoking is taking a toll on your lungs, especially if you are under 18 and can't buy a manufactured vaporizer online. So has anyone else here tried one or is thinking about it?

I've made one and posted a thread about it a while back. I liked it for the time it lasted, your right about the smell, all vapes are pretty much like that. Their easy to make, the only thing I dislike about them is it takes time to get the weed burning.

i used one for a little a while back. Im not sure how effective it is for actually vaporizing but i did like it, and reasonably easy to make as well. Just HAVE to make sure you get all that shit out from iside the lightbulb before smoking from it. Oh and i only noticed a small weed smell but it dissipates real quick like you said.

Lolololol seems like my light bulb is starting to melt or something on the bottom it's producing like burnt bulb vapor into my room that stinks a little bit and on the bottom of the bulb you feel a sort of liquid. This is great I love this!

i have one but i stopped using it because it made me cough sooo bad, and when i did cough it hurt my lungs like worse than a bong, and i can take hits pretty well.
i have no clue why this is... so i dont rly use it anymore

You probably heated it too much and the bud ignited. Did you see smoke swirling around inside? You aren't supposed to see that, only supposed to see a light vapor. It looks like it won't be a good hit, but it will get you high and make the bud last longer. I used to use lightbulb vapes and I would heat too much sometimes and get a very harsh hit with actual smoke.

ohganja420 you probably didn't clean it out properly. Either that or you did what my friend tried to do and use a flourescent tube XD
