So I was browsing the Lounge and decided I'd upload a new pic and put it in the pics thread. I had a bong bowl packed with ABV and a nice helping of kief, the last of my stuff for now. The plan was to smoke it at some point during the morning. I've been smoking less for the past few days since I was getting low. And after this, that was it.

So I'm on dial-up and I just started uploading my pic. It's going slowly so I say fuck it, I'll smoke the bong while I'm waiting. I go out to the garage to hit it, not even changing out of the stuff I slept in (t-shirt and boxers). I figure I'll just be a few minutes and it's been fairly mild lately. So I light it, hit it, finish it off and after a lot of coughing (the ABV is harsh, man), I'm stoned as balls.

I turn to walk back into the house, go to open the door, CLICK. Fucking locked. I'm stunned. I have just locked myself out of my house. Are you fucking serious? I started losing my shit due to the fact that I was high as a kite in my garage wearing my boxers and LOCKED OUT OF MY FUCKING HOUSE!

It's 11am. Nobody else is going to be home for at least another 5 hours. And it's pissing rain outside. What a moronic thing to do! Who locks themselves out of their own house? We have a place where we keep spare keys, but I could swear that I tried them several times before and they were for and older door we had. I doubted they would work.

I'm standing on the doorstep, bong in hand, saying "What the fuck?! What the fuck?! What the fuck?!" over and over trying to think of what the hell I'm going to do. How am I going to explain this to the first person who comes home? I could hide the bong in the garage somewhere, but how do I justify being locked out of the house in boxers and bare feet when it's raining?

I figure, what can I do, I might as well give the spare keys a shot. I don't have many other options. So I put the bong down, go get the spare keys, and start praying to myself, "Please, please let one of these keys work. Please. Holy fuck."

I put the first key in the lock. It goes into the lock, I knew it would because I'd tried it before, but I knew it probably wouldn't turn. I twist it downwards. Okay it turned but it didn't unlock the door. I twist it upwards, turn the door handle, and push the door in. It fucking worked! The door opened and I just heaved a massive falsetto sigh of relief! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!

I couldn't believe after trying these keys several times before and having them seemingly not work, the one time I actually need them they did their job! I think next time I decide to lock myself out of my house I'll at least have the sense to put on some pants first.

Funny story. I know what you mean though cause I locked myself out by going in the garage just a couple weeks ago.

Locked myself out of my house a few times, but I always had monkey-like friends that are willing to crawl up to one of our windows on tha second floor to open up and let us in

I was locked out of my house once. It wasn't raining, I wasn't in my boxers, and I wasn't stoned, though. I did, however, get to kick a door in, which is something I've always wanted to do; you have no idea how badass I felt. Just pretend it wasn't my own place.

I've gotten locked out of my car, my house, pretty much anything you can think of. Good thing those keys worked man, I would have freaked in that situation haha.

Man thats lucky, I used to lock myself out of the house so often that I went and got like five spare keys cut to hide all around because I would never be able to find it while high if there was only one. I also have two hide-a-key things for my truck, and two spare sets at home.

I've locked myself out plenty of times sadly enough, and this was before i started smoking. My friends and i found out that with my house, if theres even a slight crack in a window we can get it.

I remember when i got completely locked out of my house during winter once, i had to sit on my porch for like two hours until somebody came home, it sucked. I'm happy to hear that you could get back in
